If you declare your true love for Jaye and still have a good score with Mallory, you can get the polyamorous ending. If, on the other hand, you remain in an open relationship with both of them, you will get the ending with Jaye.

Firebreak Dev Update 4

This week was a holiday week in the US, so Kent and I were a little less productive than usual, but that doesn't mean we didn't get another 100 renders done, select a few more audio tracks, and tighten up the presentation layer on the game some.

Kent and I also spent some time selecting assets, particularly for Firebreak's antagonists. We wanted to make sure we'd found the right feel for what we are trying to do without going down well worn design paths seen frequently in other work. We've got some solid ideas, and since they'll begin showing up in the next set of renders, we'll have a pretty good idea if they're gonna work for us or not.

Congratulations Bethor on your win with Saturday's Chasing Sunsets quiz. For those of you who missed it, this guy is a walking encyclopedia of Stone Fox esoteria. For anyone thinking he was just running a search on the script, some of the answers could only be found in the art and he was just as quick with those!

As a reward, he'll be receiving a custom Firebreak render of the girl of his choice. We have it on good authority it will be Mikaela.

Next week is a full dev week so we'll likely have more milestones to report next Sunday. As much of the world closes in on Christmas, we'll do our best not to let it slow us down!

Stoya

Damn...Tara is looking pretty awful in every single Firebreak preview I've seen so far. No clue what Kentyrr did to the model but damn it's rough to look at

Here we go again - Old Mila was better looking than new Mila :ROFLMAO:
And that's a goddamn fact! :p

So is old Tara model looking 10x better than this one. She looks washed here. The skin and hair color make her look sickly...or kinda like a zombie at the earlier stages of decay. Her features are also far less pronounced in the new model. I mean look at my profile pic. If you can't tell a difference you're blind as a bat.

I mean I like the hair better here but the facial features are a massive downgrade imo.

It's the lighting. Your pfp is lit for a photoshoot; this image is lit to match the scene.

Hope you're right. I'm not playing Firebreak either way but I'll definitely be checking out the Tara renders when it comes out.

I think He is right, although she looks somehow younger, but that can be the difuse light, (I'm serious now)

This 100%. Lighting makes a massive difference in how a person (or object) looks. Ask any photographer - and the same thing applies to Daz.

It's why some AVN Dev teams have a person whose entire job is scene lighting.
