it's called "The Past".
You know, I've always struggled to understand readers that have issues with Lls that have a past relationship, but i think your post gave me a breakthrough.

Clearly those readers don't live in linear time, and past, present, and future all are experienced at the same time. :WeSmart:

Edit: I'm joking... but that actually would be an interesting story concept now that I think about it. :KEK:

Agreed. In the end ive figured that since its all based on feelings. Feelings doesnt have to be based on logic, most aint. Hence the existence of batshit crazy justifications people come up with and the existence of virgin prostitutes, chaste mothers and married milfs not having had sex (unconsumated weddings) other delusions in porn games and other porn fiction are plentiful.

At some point you just have to ignore the people craving that shit and not feed the delusions.

As long as a character is not a LI they could be available for another story without issue imo. Not should, nor do they have to, but they could.

Id would find it hilarious if for example Bianca remains a sidegirl in Firebreak and turns up as a manprowling cougar in a third title .

0 issues with the likes of Bianca, Tara etc to turn up in Firebreak and become main characters to pursue or remain as sidechicks. I mean, they didnt end up with the MC so their lives continues. If a character ever becomes a LIs i think its only fair to "retire" them. They got their happy ending and all possible MC+LI happy ever after.

Such endings should be honored. Jaye and Mal should forever more be off the market no matter which you picked, even if you didnt pick either one.

Came back to the game after a year long, didn't the dev say they won't give a poly route cause it would've fit Jaye's character?
Did they pull back from that (cause I see a poly route guide in the first page)?

Yes, there's a Jaye/Mal throuple ending (still my favorite ending), but you can't get to it from the open relationship path and it's pretty hard to get with a blind playthrough, which is why I wrote that mini-guide.

I just went all for Jaye, which was a great ending.
Ironically, also almost the same path as mine, at least from Chapter 6 to 9. :ROFLMAO:

I did enjoy Jaye's ending too. But I just enjoy good poly endings in general, and the interactions between Jaye and Mal were too fun.

Thanks for the answer.
Any reason the dev decided to pull back from their initial decision on it (not giving us throuple option)?
Was it fan pressure or something else?

Is there a bad ending in the game? There is an option to not save Jaye during the storm but its greyed out.
