I don't know if the roadmap still applies (ignoring the original dates), but I found the post I was vaguely remembering: https://f95zone.to/threads/chasing-sunsets-v1-01-stone-fox-studios.62625/post-14662426

v1.02 - Sept 2024: This will include bug fixes for all chapters, including the one mentioned above from Chapter 7

v1.10 - Dec 2024-Mar 2025: This will be our Epilogue Chapter.

v1.11 - TBD 2025: This will be our final version, after which we will only patch the game if bugs are discovered, and it will be considered a completely finished product. This will focus on bringing legacy animations and art up to our current standard, refining dialogue, and possibly adding additional choices or providing a smoother experience navigating the relationship realities.
The Epilogue Chapter (Chapter 10) has taken a lot longer than they originally anticipated. I'm not sure if the plan is to still do a v1.11 to bring up legacy content after the epilogues are released at this point or to move on to their next game.

It might be worth waiting until the Epilogue update comes out (hopefully soon) and seeing if they give an updated plan at that time. I'll say that none of the early art stood out to me as particularly bad though compared to some other games' early art.

The Epilogue took longer because they were helping another Dev with another game, from what I've heard. But I could be wrong, so, take it with a grain of Salt.

Update from Stoya on their Discord:
  1. Just a quick progress update: Feels like we take two steps forward, and three steps back. Shades of DPC’s hell with the DIK helmet in BADIK. Without offering any detailed spoilers, the challenge has been that there are appearance differences between characters in different world states, so many scenes require multiple images of the same character that reflect those realities. It seems like we validate one path and find another that has an art or continuity gap that needs to be addressed. In some cases it requires new art, but in most it just requires spot renders or pathing branches.
In any case, I’d hoped to have the beta testers debugging by yesterday, and at this point it looks like it will probably be tomorrow.
I’ll make a Patreon/SS update to that effect when I get home from work today. We’re close…
We’re very anxious to get this out to the fans, and Kent even has his fingers in the code while I’m at my day job to try to bring in the timeline.

Why on Earth would they release an unfinished product and invite people to complain when something doesn't work right, or something else is missing?
i dont mean it literally,i was just frustrated with the fact that many timelines have lapsed with regards to the release dates cant wait any more

Personally, if rather wait just a bit longer and have a polished ending than something that feels rushed.
Will this be the End of the Game or will there be like an Epiloge to tie everythibg together. Because if it's the former I would assume that it would either be a massive Thing or there will be missed things. I couldn't find any Info on that.

The upcoming Chapter 10 is all the Epilogues.

...if the Throuple (if you went that way) stays intact.
I'm sure it will, particularly based on preview images. I'm more interested to see if that remains strictly a poly "vee" like Jaye originally described what she's okay with or if it moves closer to a proper triad/throuple over time.

Well, shit happens, plus after this then they will be done while rolling all updates they were going to do into one. Then they can finally move on to their new game full-steam.

Looking forward to it. Fingers crossed it's worth the wait and gives Chasing Sunsets the ending it deserves.
