Why was the thread promoted in the last updates? The new update hasn't been leaked :WaitWhat:
For each new update I add the previous one here. Today we have a small update for the v0.1 while the v0.2 is out for subs.
For the next month we will have the update for the v0.2 here while the v0.3 will be released for subs too etc...

I have a question: do you think being kind leads to being submissive?

I'm wondering if I should change the kindness value to submissiveness or add a submissiveness value alongside it.
I’d prefer to keep things simple but also realistic. For example, when Elena asks Christelle to stop pushing Anna, or when she is understanding about Anna not wanting to change her clothes in front of the others, these actions are currently categorized as Kindness. Would it make sense for these situations to also increase Elena’s submissiveness?
You can be a kind mistress or master or also a very bitchy slave/sub, so i don't think kindness equals submissive.

Being kind and being submissive are not the same, and even within these traits, there are different "flavors".

The first question you should ask when introducing new variables is what they should accomplish and if they support your story. Oftentimes, developers make the mistake of introducing personality variables because they like it and want to give the player a choice, but then they have to develop story lines that they themselves do not like or that do not fit in the story, which leads to bad results. This should be avoided.

So for example, if you imagine on of the girls being "kind" it doesn't make sense to have a kindness variable for her, because she will always be kind.
However, if you want to develop two versions of Elena, one dominant, one submissive, it does make sense to introduce a dominance / submissive variable. Of course, you could also imagine Elena being submissive by default and having the choice about what kind of submissiveness (bratty, eager, reluctant, non-con etc).

So your variables shouldn't determine your story, your story should determine the variables. What's the story you want to tell, what are the branches and variations, and based on that, what variables are useful to determine the storyline?

Another topic, you asked somewhere else what we expect in a story with cheerleaders, so that's also something I wanted to answer:

I was referring to the 2000 movie “Bring it On.” Yikes, that was 24 years ago. Anyhow, that was immediately what I thought of when I saw this VN come out. If unfamiliar, you may want to check it out. There’s a competition, new head cheerleader struggles leading, boyfriend cheats on her, there are rival cheerleading teams etc. Ripe with avenues to explore in a saucy VN.
Oh yes, I was fond of her when I was younger too!

There is a bunch of good ideas, thanks for your feedback. I like especially the idea of the "become a slut" training and the little brother getting some pussies instead of their big bro. I will definitely take inspiration in these!

Playing a bitchy and dominant Elena sounds fun. :D

But I've had enough of female MCs, who are just getting corrupted and other peoples plaything, without any own character.

Depending on your choices with Elena, she will either succumb to corruption or become the one to dominate and corrupt others. Her strength of character will evolve based on the situations and the decisions you make... :)

Normally I almost never test games at such an early stage of development, but the visuals looked so good that I had to give it a try. I really liked Elena's attitude and personality, she's strict but not conceited, she seems to have her head on straight instead of in the clouds like other cheerleader captains who think they're too good for their own good, in short she's not an idiot with an inflated ego.

After Elena's part, the game goes downhill for me, because who cares? All these random people coming out of nowhere without much context? Emma and Amy will definitely be annoying characters, I'll try to guess and speculate that Emma will join the cheerleaders in the future, I hope Elena gives her and her mother a firm hand.

I don't think letting Christelle sexually harass Anna is a submissive thing to do, from my perspective I'm letting her be corrupted because Elena allowed it, in a way she's using her as her puppet to do her dirty work to get Anna to come out of her shell, so in my opinion allowing it doesn't equate to submission but to corruption.

Of course you are the Dev and you have the last word. (y)

First, thank you for testing it and sharing your feedback!
Initially, I wanted to implement a dual-choice system where every Dominant choice would have a corresponding Submissive option and vice versa. However, I’ve realized this doesn’t make sense in certain situations, so I’ll likely need to approach it with more flexibility.
Additionally, from the next version onward, we’ll be focusing more heavily on Elena.

First of all, good luck with development mate!

You are already planning quite a few different POVs (even if Elena is the main MC), if you add a whole extra set of different "paths" it could possibly lead to a mess down the line.

Personal suggestion (but is literally just that, a suggestion) is to decide which of the dichotomies you'd rather highlight in your VN.
Do you prefer to focus on the submissive/dominant split or the kind/harsh one?

From a strictly kink based POV the first is probably the one that could attract more folks to your VN, and it's also the one that's probably easier to achieve without having to ditch the other completely:
Character X is a kind person and can be either submissive or dominant, the player gets to choose

That doesn't mean the other option is worse, it can actually make for a better story, since everyone pretty much falls within the kind/harsh dichotomy to diferent degrees:
Character X is a dominant person and can be either kind or harsh, the pleyer gets to choose.

Tbh having played the version available here I liked how it was handled so far, and most importantly the fact that we can combo harshness with submissivness, which is rare in this sort of games: it's either dominant top or meek bottom in all types of situations. All in all great entry, didn't mind the other pov's and will be interesting to see where you go with it.

I just saw the and yeah, that cheer song is the attitude I want in a cheerleader squad.
I have a friend who has participated in many cheerleading competitions, so I often ask her for insights and information. She’s basically become my consultant for this! :)

For example, I didn’t know at first that there are different roles in a cheerleading team, like flyer, base, and back spot. Interestingly, the flyers are usually considered the "stars" of the squad and have the best chance of becoming standout cheerleaders (for example, big brands might take an interest in them). This could add some intriguing plot dynamics to the game!

Additionally, I think I’d prefer to focus more on the "sport" side of cheerleading, as shown in this video: .
This fits perfectly with the game's premise, which starts with the ambition of becoming the top cheerleading squad in the world—that’s the team’s ultimate goal.
With the inclusion of various levels and real competitions, both national and international, I could definitely explore the concept of "professionalizing" cheerleading within the game, rather than limiting it to the "university" style.
