from now on my android ports of Ren'Py games have a 2nd, persistent save location like windows. if you uninstall an app, the save files and persistent data remain intact.
therefore the app needs the permission to access the public external storage (or a new one on Android 11 ), because it has to read and write outside its own external storage directories.
you have to grant the permission or the app is shut down.

I thought Act 1 ended with a scene that implies Chemical Travel continues the story of Act 1? or is that just *1* of the endings for Act 1 that would make that so?

Chemical Change have 2 endings and 2 sequels Chemical Travel (rpgm) and Chemical Change Act2 (ren'py).

Made an Android port of Chemical Change Act 2 v0.4.

Got some basic gestures loaded in: swipe up for save menu, swipe down to hide UI, swipe left to rollback and swipe right to skip. Save files are now stored in the Documents folder. This sometimes means that you may need to close and re-open the port after installing so the save folder is properly created.

Please let me know if you encounter any issues with the ports and I'll see what I can do to get them sorted.
