None of our games have been abandoned. We encountered many obstacles when we initially started using software that was not suitable for creating visual novels, which made it impossible for us to continue with those projects.
However, we are now moving forward with the development of both of our previous games as a part of this new project. While the game may have a different name, it is essentially the same game. The only difference is that scenario from our previous games will come in later chapters.
We understand that some people may be hesitant to support a game until developers have proven their commitment to ongoing development, as many games are abandoned after only one or a few releases. Others may want to see how the game develops and/or have a significant amount of content before deciding to support it.
However, for developers to continue investing precious resources such as time, energy, and money into creating a game, they need feedback in monetary terms, not just criticism (whether good or bad). While constructive criticism and positive encouragement are essential, they are not enough to sustain a project.
We believe in offering a fair deal to both paying supporters and those who wish to wait until there is more content available. Those who wish to support us and gain immediate access to the next chapter can do so by becoming paying supporters. Those who choose to wait until there is more content available can still enjoy the public release. Essentially, they are getting the same content, only with a time delay. By becoming a paying supporter, you can significantly speed up our game development process.
It is not fair for us or paying supporters to release everything for free to the public. Paying supporters should receive some perks for their incentive to give us support.
