This game is EXTREMELY setisfying. After some playing around in the beginning of the 1st act Ciri is suddenly fingering a dryade, fisting a Harpy and is being enslaved, spanked, toyed with and put on display by some witch-hunter dude! That's a totally different dynamics to any otner Trainer game, where before seeing heroine's boobs you have to awkwardly manipulate her twenty thousend times. Extra points for BDSM-theamed third chapter, I can't even imagine how author is planning to develop the game further now when the main heroine is basically a trained sexslave

We know the general opinion is "we wasted our time by SLOWLY corrupting Ciri and now she suddenly is entirely broken!" and for how wrong, or confusing, or shocking this design choice may have felt like, I'm glad to notice you're exactly where we wanted you -especially in terms of emotional spikes- as that is exactly the kind of reaction we wanted to trigger.
Those who are familiar with the books know we couldn't skip this part, and we tried to deliver our take on arguably the darkest part of the entire lore.
So is Ciri actually broken? Well, just follow Malata example and have faith: Chapter 4 will clarify where you actually are with Ciri's corruption.
To be fair, it could have the opposite effect, harden her and make her MUCH harder for us to corrupt.
I am actually relieved to read that my reaction to Ch3 (mainly anger and disbelief) was provoked by you, intentionally. Anger not so much because it is not a vanilla game (we are in a porn trainer game after all..
) but because the nice build up of Ch1-2 was rendered meaningless.And I know my extreme feelings were only possible because I really loved the game in Ch1-2. Now I am eager to see what you have planned for Ch4.. ah, the wait..

This is clearly not the classic trainer formula guys. And Ciri is respectfully not an ordinary Princess Jasmine-type character who would fit in that formula. The authors clearly meant to reflect the horrors Ciri had to go through in the books, albeit in a more sexualized way, because that's just what the character is. In the books, she is cocky, arrogant and her recklessness leads her to some very unaffortunate moments. Bonhart is in a way a tipping point for her - she finally realises her faults and learns to appreciate the better days of her life. I assume this is the direction here - we won't need to simply "break" her, because she is broken as a character. We will probably embrace a more affectionate and loving strategy, with the necessary deception and sex. I also assume this from the way the MC is written - he doesn't really want Ciri to become a sex slave, he's just a doppler who wants to survive and - if the situation is right - have a bit of fun on the side.
I don't know if I'm making sense or not, I just wanted to say that I respect the authors for their somewhat bold choice for chapter 3 and that I can see its value. Chapter 1 and 2 are imho not in any way rendered meaningless. It's just a different trainer.

Imagine starting a whole hating campaign against a patreon game because it doesn't match your personal fetishes.
We were considered adding Geralt as an alternative playable character, but I'm starting to doubt if it's worth it. After all, the hardcore anti-Vesemir crowd seems to be made mostly from trolls and flamers, so paying attention to their requests is pointless: they will always find another reason to hate.

Sadly, that's very true.
And we were considering it since a patron suggested a very interesting way to add him, while leaving a choice on "who to play as" to players.
But then again, I'm afraid my buddy DarkTl up here is right, and there's nothing we can do to actually change the biased opinion of those who hate this project of ours by principle.
And to be honest, a message "pinging" all of those who haven't liked the game - a "call to arms" to poorly rate a game - is the kind of "lowest" I've -erroneously- thought no one could ever sink to.

The interesting thing is that tha hate for choosing Vesemir as the MC was almost completely replaced for the hatred for Chapter 3, almost as if there is only one "memory slot" for hatred.

I actually haven't played chapter 3 yet. Waiting until its publicly released so I don't pirate it. Unless I missed the news that its been publicly released already? I try not to pirate games here where the devs are active participants.Freaking incredible game, is there anymore trainers game like this master piece ?
I did not like the fact that it was vesemir, but when you play the game at least 10 minutes it does make sense !

I think it's finally time for me to post here, because i have yet to express my gratitude for this project, especially now more than ever with the negative feedback lately.
I've been following the project since the very beginning, after becoming aware of it through my friend xpsfm.
Honestly, i'm so happy this project has already come such a long way and at the start i was doubtful about the player character choice as well, but i have really grown to like it. Just give it a chance guys and actually play the game, instead of rushing for the CG's. These hateful fucks don't even really care and as far as i'm concerned are mostly trolls from various places like /weg/.
Now my opinion: I really liked Chapter 3, not only because this darker and non-consensual content is a fetish of mine, but also cause it's a very close, alternative interpretation of the things Ciri had to go through with Bonhart. To be honest, i'd be down for a "bad end" and a return of his character, like imagining something that could've happend in The Lady of the Lake. Maybe as a bonus, cause the (vocal) majority apparently disapproves.
Anyway, i hope you guys are gonna extend the project (Where is Yen?! ._.) as it's literally my personal Witcher fanfiction coming true. One can only do so much in 3D software, so seeing it done as 2D VN/trainer game is awesome and offers so many possibilities.
Also gonna finally join the Patreon at the start of the new month.

I agree. And even though I was among the first to rate the game down - because quite frankly Ch.3 really disturbed me - I will rate it up again simply to protest against that form of protest. And because you have clarified in another post that you intentionally added that shocker chapter in, which makes me hopeful again for ch.4.
Anyway, please keep it up guys, you do not deserve a negative campaign.

It's understandable. When I read the books, I couldn't wait for Geralt to find Bonhart, kill him, and free Ciri. That, of course, never happened. And our Ciri is almost 19, in the books she was far from 18 when she was captured, so it was much harder for her. Especially considering what happened to the Rats in the original story.
But it also made her who she is, both physically (the scar) and mentally (the personality).
The thing is, patreon rules now forbid to share NSFW content freely. So it seems pretty dangerous, we already had one warning for a NSFW public post. We'd like to avoid bans, especially in the middle of development.
