I am not sure it is translation but the relationship between MC and May goes back and forth like are they bro-sis, good friends, or MC is adapted. The overall story is good.

Haven't you noticed there's something wrong with the resources? I downloaded them twice on my PC from different cloud storage services, yet some video segments still play extremely choppy. For instance, the Yumiko segments always have one or two frames from other scenes mixed in, making it feel all stuttery

That's because the dev uses show/hide statements instead of 'scene'. If the asset is heavy, like an animation, the underlying scene peeks through. You'll notice the same if you scroll back & forward a few times.

However, when I play online at porngameshub, there's no stuttering during autoplay. The scenes transition smoothly without any issues—no random insertion of one or two frames from the previous scene into the next, which could disrupt the viewing experience

Platforms like that have their own way of handling things. It uses javascript to run in the browser instead of python, and it's not even clear how much of the original code survives.

I've never encountered this situation before. I did notice that the original videos all appear normal—it only happens during actual gameplay

After reinstalling everything today, I found everything working normally again. It wasn't a game resource issue—it might be my laptop. Does loading these scenes require time internally? I remember when I first downloaded Once in a Lifetime, it kept inserting random scenes the day before, but miraculously everything worked fine the next day lol

Ren'Py does its best to predict and preload images so they're cached before they're needed. It's possible to notice images loading slowly if the hard drive is slow (or the game is installed on a network drive), or if the computer is low on memory.
Being low on memory is probably an exceptional situation, since Ren'Py really doesn't use all that much RAM. If this is the issue, you likely have bigger problems keeping the system stable.

I'd just started this one several months back, then put aside for reasons I don't remember. Played it again a bit this afternoon, then saw there was an update. Downloaded the update, found it broke my saves, so started over (hadn't gotten very far anyway) and spent maybe an hour on it--just got Minami back to her place after our first meeting (and the attempted robbery). Seeing some, but not all, of the brother/sister stuff go away is a little disorienting--not so much because it's gone, but because only some of it's gone. May's "best friend" is lying in the shower, but she wakes him up with "Bro!" And if they aren't family, as they sometimes say, how do they both inherit "Dad"'s debt? Not sure what to make of the story at this point--we have elements of time travel, demonic powers, what sound like alien invaders (though perhaps what Asami told us about were demons instead?). Oh, and some school drama because reasons.

But the girls are top-notch. May is just adorable; she may have just beaten out Annie from Eternum and Stella from Realm Invader for my "most adorable LI" title (though it's a close contest). Lillian is gorgeous. Leah is a cutie, though it looks like she doesn't warrant "main-girl" status--pity. Minami looks great, and well under her supposed ~30 years. And so on, and so on. How is MC, like Frankie Mermaid from The Velocipastor, "swimming in bitches"? It's just a AVN, you should really just relax. But looking forward to spending some more time with this one.

A couple of questions on the gameplay mechanics, though:

• The rollback feature I've seen in other Ren'Py games doesn't work for me, at least not consistently. Is there a setting I've missed?
• What does it take to unlock the character bios? Right now (just back to the apartment after leaving Minami at her place), Minami is the only one that's unlocked for me. I could understand its being tied to character progression, but I'd think Lillian would be progressed farther than Minami at this point.
  • And in 0.3, Lillian was unlocked well before this.
