I only heard Philly wants to do something in the year 2100. I don't know much else besides that, but that year is directly from his DISCORD 2-3 weeks ago
So Cyberpunk 2100? Wonder if it will take place in the same universe as this game. IT would be interesting to see this kind of world bulding.

Also, seeing where we at in the story, i'd say next chapter will be the final confrontation, and the next will be the epilogue with all the different personnalized endings. Who wanna bet Gloria will refuse the cure when inside the lab and blow the whole complex up?
I say it is more likely two chapters for the final showdown and later one epilogue chapter because of all possible variables.

You NEED to have Ch4Vicgoodbye (so you can't have sex with her in that part) otherwise the scene doesn't play update the guide
Did you install the latest bug patch?
Yeah just tried it no difference.
Can anyone confirm if this works out this way EVEN after installing the latest bugfix?
No. With v1.12.1 installed you do not need ch4vicgoodbye, just as rick87 said. I don't have ch4vicgoodbye and do have ch4vicsex in my main Victoria run & got the scene to choose her. Most likely ninjasamuri hasn't installed the patch correctly.
Hi, can someone please re-post or re-link the patch for Chapter 11?
The Workupload link in this post still seems to be available.

Tried it again by putting it in both the game file and the renpy file this time it worked

I played through Chapter 12. Alas, that's both my opening statement and gist of my review. I don't hate anything here, but I was expecting something more.

The update is... okay. It has some nice character bits, it has the requisite sex scenes, and it technically advances the plot. But there's very little synergy between those items - they just coexist in the same vicinity; if anything, the story feels like a hinderance to fitting in the sex and character scenes. What little momentum we had from the end of Chapter 11 is squandered as the pieces are moved around the board yet again. The final scene of Chapter 12 reassures us that the end is now at hand, but it's hard to get invested in the moment when the statement is so divorced from the gameplay we experience.

Any further details will probably require spoilers, so let's get to it.

So that's my take, make of it what you will.

tl;dr Chapter 12 gives us more of what we like at the expense building towards a satisfying finale.

I understand her personallity,
She doesn't have one.

I'm not saying that because I hate her, i'm completely indifferent to her, i'm saying that because she literally has no personality of her own.

She was taken as a child and built up as Meredith's bitch. She's spent years being what Meredith wants her to be and now she doesn't know who she is.

She's been hundreds of different people depending on the job but she's never been herself.

You don't even think she's starting to find that in her interactions with the MC (on the Respect/Romance route)?

I'm with Ava... Avaron1974...
Meredith White has no definable personality.
Meredith White has no soul.
She sold it to the devil long ago.
She gave up her humanity for a lust of power.
Meredith White has no redeeming qualities or virtues at all.
She is an enemy needing to be eliminated by any means available.

Started too, sure, but she still doesn't know who she is. She's spent too long being other people and hasn't been Victoria for many years. Never as an adult.

I will admit, the whole Victoria thing is a sore spot for me. I don't think she's deserving of a happy ending. If I could swap her out for Sonja for LI I would in a heartbeat.

Sonja has been through hell and back while Victoria was an overpriced corporate whore. Not being insulting there, that's very literally what she is. She was designed for that very purpose. She spreads her legs when Meredith tells her too and she's done it a LOT.

So why is the office hooker more deserving of a happy ending than the woman that very literally sacrificed her own sanity to save the MC?

Katie spent her life helping people, Ellen was screwed over by Gloria's dad and lost everything but Victoria...... did nothing.

I honestly don't understand why she's an LI and Sonja isn't. I can see where it's going, Sonja isn't going to make it out aline, after the events of DA i've been wating for her to die but damn right i'm annoyed about it. Even Venus is more deserving than Victoria and she's a sex bot.

Victoria's whole purpose in life is to make people horny with her augments .... she's walking Viagra.

I don't hate her I just think there are others far more deserving of finishing the game happy. Abby, Sonja shit i'd even take Shanlon.

While I may not hate her I don't think there is anything she could do to make me like her.

I actually agree with you about Sonja. She's def a tragic figure, and she deserves better. I think that Chandra is another interesting character who looks like she may not get any love, with or without Abby...

Victoria isn't my favorite route, by any means, but I do have a save for her. I think she's ALSO a tragic figure. She IS a corporate whore, as you say, but she's been brainwashed and browbeaten to such an extent, she really didn't think she had a choice about it. It took meeting the MC (on the appropriate path of course) to show her that she actually does have choices. Of course, that route can be considered problematic as well if she's relying on a man for her redemption...

Hmm, i mostly agree.

Ellen, Katie, Sonja and Gloria all had quite a lot of screen time to show how all the adversities they suffered resulted in who they are in the preset time of the game.
Even Venus also got the screen time showing how she is passing through this process right now and developing her personality, at least in the route where Jake "fixed" her damaged body, which i found quite nice. Venus has surprisingly become a favorite character of mine in CoBD.:)

However i don't recall this happening with Victoria in the route were she join forces with Jake and cia against Meredith/Baynard. I don't remember any wondering moment about what she will be if she stops being Meridith's bitch or if she regret any of the actions she has taken as such. Like the mechanical "apology" to Ellen for using her powers to try to force the singer to give Victoria the location where Jake was hiding.
In fact Gloria even mention how she is doing this out of self interest, to try to take over Meredith's position.

This makes me wonder if the lack of a conflict in Victoria over her previous missions as a corporate spy/whore and her current predicament is on purpose. Maybe she will try to backstab the team after Meridith is dealt with? So no reason to show conflict if she is more than happy in using this mission to climb the corporate ladder?

I haven't played the Jake&Victoria love route or the one were Jake is Vic's bitch (spellbound) so i don't know if those show the redhead pondering about her live choices in a similar way the other characters were shown doing.

About Sonja. Yeah i also get the feeling she may end up sacrificing herself to save Gloria, her personal atonement for killing the child in the Caracas mission.

Chandra's situation in the story is a bit of a shame. She seemed to be a side character who got upgraded to love interest because of her popularity but because of how the story unfolds she basically has very few screen time. Think even Venus got more than her so far.

I have played all the LI's routes including Victoria's which is why I say with confidence i'll never like her.

She has 1 single moment of regret in Episode 11 when the truth about Caracas comes out to her and what happened but it isn't major regret, it's 1 sentence and a few drops of tears.

It's almost like she forced it to try and get some sympathy from Jake at that moment. He's still bent up over Caracas and not being able to save the child or his wife, it's where he lost everything and right at that moment she seems to play on that.

There are a lot of scenes that show her working against Meredith but not in any way i'd say shows her in a sympathetic light.

The only difference between LI Victoria and normal Victoria is she takes her clothes off for Jake rather than other people and she smiles a bit more.

Even Shanlon has shown a softer side than Victoria has and no i'm not joking.

I actually agree with you about Sonja. She's def a tragic figure, and she deserves better. I think that Chandra is another interesting character who looks like she may not get any love, with or without Abby...
Chandra I know will get an ending because she got promoted to LI.

The problem is she doesn't really have a role to play in the larger scheme. While she knows what her mother does she is totally naive and doesn't seem to see what's really going on. Abby is the opposite, she knows exactly how bad shit is but I think she likes being around Chandra for the same reason people love Gloria, she's fun to be around and takes her mind off everything that's going on.

I only really have 3 things going for me for why I think Sonja is going to die.

1. She isn't on the LI screen despite being closer to the MC than anyone else and, you know, being his wife.

2. She died inside the moment she shot that girl. Any chance she had at living a happily ever after died that day.

3. This might be a reach buuuut, Sonja has possession of my fave girl Stella. Stella died during the events of DA. I think Sonja is COBD's Stella.

I think shit is going to hit the fan and I think Sonja is going to die for either Gloria or Jake. Either way i'm calling it here that Sonja dies before credits roll.

Yes it pisses me off because, besides me joking about Stella since day 1 because she is a sexy gun, Sonja is probably my fave character. She's a tough as fuck woman with a toned body and dominant personality and yes I will freely admit on this here board of perverts she's fucking hot.

I'd love for her to get her happy ever after. If anything I think she probably deserves it more than most in the game. I think only Gloria and maybe Jake deserve it slightly more.

I just don't think she makes it out of this.

Think even Venus got more than her so far.
I like Venus a lot. She made me chuckle at first but once she started taking over camera's and pursuing Jake it was obvious she was more than a sex bot. It's borderline Bladerunner shit with the "can a replicant be a real person" but her character has been really well done and progressed nicely.

Yeah the Bladerunner reference did not go unnoticed.
I fully expect/hope Venus to have her own ending after the amount of character development she has shown so far. I can even picture a epilogue where Venus and Jake become partners in the bounty hunting business.:p

So she is pretty much unrepented of previous choices in the other routes too?
Then i suppose that Victoria is mostly working against Meredith because she knows her boss is losing it and she doesn't want to be made the scapegoat when shit hits the fan. Now i wouldn't be surprised if even in the love route she stays working at Baynard.

About Shanlon i am still unsure. It will all depend on what she does after Jake gives her all info about Baynard.

Yes, I think Chandra deserves more important role in the plot, especially after her long absence. Maybe also some serious conversation, just like MC have with the other LIs and of course a happy path (solo or with Abby, depending on the player choice) Not that she appeared just for something bad happen to her. Well, maybe something will come of it (hopefully not the part about something bad) :cautious:
