You took Bella as an example but that kind of convenient writing is present with almost every other character in BaDIK and it's what put me off from that game in chapter3 or so (I still kept playing until chapter 6 but just for the lulz, then it became too much for me and I finally drop it), so you're definitely not alone in your criticism. Sure, Philly is somewhat guilty too, with all that Caracas incident we only get to know (almost) in full during chapter 8, but you can see there's a narrative purpose in terms of character and story development, it's not there just for its shock value. Also, your MC can ask Victoria some legit questions and even though she refuses to address them, at least players are 'happy' with their own character behaving like a real person considering his background and the game's environment.Wanted to compare two mysterious female characters from the TOP-2 VNs in terms of how they are written and implemented from a story point of view in a small comparative note. As both the games are sort of story-driven I find this comparison appropriate. A battle of titans: Victoria (Philly's CoBD) vs. Isabella (DPC's BaDIK)
