I usually mute everyting and play my own music during any VNs, even with the good ones. But this one is damn, it fits so well.

Story 5/5 ;
Deep lore and all that. Really fine ass utopia building out there.

Renders 5/5 ;
no nightmare fuels like some games do often

Girls 5/5 ;
I m personally not into S&M shit (no judgement) but even i, liked all the girls they all have unique characters even tho some girls has that copy paste look, they feel different.

My only complaint would be, there is no indication to show how much points you have with the girls unlesss you are using mods. It would be a nice addition but not terribly important.

Serious cyberpunk vibes. This game builds atmosphere so incredibly well, and I adore the characters. The writing is sublime. This is currently my number one game on this site. I would absolutely recommend it. No two dimensional booty calls here, there is always another layer to unravel.

One of the best games in active development. So much well-developed content, beautiful girls and renders, and engaging dialogue amidst a gripping sci-fi story. PhillyGames, between this game and his last one, has to be considered one of the very best in the genre.

The Good ()

• Gorgeous models -- hyper detailed and beautiful
• A number of love interests and paths that don't necessarily exclude one another
• Creative use and inclusion of sci-fi elements
• Amazing execution in the cinematography and visual storytelling
• A very original story that draws from many sources of inspiration but still feels entirely fresh
• The "framing" of the H-scenes is incredibly erotic -- where characters are positioned, the camera angles, the body movements all heighten the experience
• Hours and hours of content
• An end is in sight -- great in terms of creating meaning for the narrative as it continues on

The Not-So-Good ()

• This far into the game, it is hard to keep track of some of the plot lines and some of the stakes seem to be moving around
• Over time, all of the girls seem to morph into having similar submissive personalities

Overall, an outstanding title with so much care and consideration for the story, renders and dialogue. Can't recommend this enough!

One-line review: all-around excellent, better story than most SyFy originals and better porn than most porn.
Great writing, the girls don't feel repetitive, the sci-fi elements are compelling and would be an interesting story on their own without the porn, but then the actual sex scenes are themselves a cut above.

I found this to be an extremely stunning visual novel. Nearly every scene in it pops out with vibrant graphical fx. The little animation scenes are all excellent at setting the mood too. I love cyberpunk themed games and this one drew me in and captivated me with the storyline.

The soundtrack is just to die for. It really sets the mood, and the developer has made excellent choices. I could just listen to the haunting main theme over and over, it's that atmospheric.

The story is engrossing enough to hook me in and get invested in the characters. I felt sad for the milchers and also became quite protective towards gloria. It did feel a bit slower in the last update which seemed more focused on the lewd scenes. I guess the guys need their quota of flesh

Some minor critisicms:

There are plenty of lewd scenes but I found that the weakest part. Sometimes the model proportions looked a bit strange from different angles and some of the scenes felt a bit "samey". Maybe it's just me though. I could happily play it without any of the erotic scenes. The dialogue also seems a little bit unimaginitive and stilted in later updates, as if the dev was struggling to find variety for the scenes.

Overall though a stunningly stylish game that is clearly a labor of love.

This one definitelly deserves 5 stars. It was actually first 3D VN game I played and it definitelly convinced me to try more. I quite like the plot, the whole 'cyberpunk' setting is very intriguing, characters are very likeable and have wide range of different personalities, and also there is the whole glossary thing, so you can find more background info about the game world, that was very good idea. And of course renders quality and graphics level really blew my mind, it's simply amazing. Character models, environment, lightning.. everything feels so perfect. Well maybe percentage of female characters with huge busts could've been a bit smaller, but besides that I have nothing to complain about.

Possibly the best cyberpunk type game on the market thusfar. Intriguing story, decent enough characters with a couple outstanding ones who invoke a good bit of emotion. Beautifully rendered images.

Solid music, lighting and atmospheric design are this game's absolute strong point in my opinion. I would rate this a solid 9.5 out of 10. I cannot wait to see more of the story unfold.

I don't often rate games but I have to say that PhillyGames did an outstanding job once again.
After Depraved Awakening (which was great), we have another awesome game.
This is one of the rare games so well written that I was in a situation where I wasn't trying to just bang everyone.
I felt connected to some characters, that goes to show how great the writing is.
I was also the first time I left some scenes play just to listen to the soundtrack.
The models are really great and it was one of the game where I was more playing for the story, and that's rare.
Well done PhillyGames! Can't wait for more!

really don't get all the hype. Huge following and yet very slow releases with qaulity that isn't anything to write home about.

The story is so convoluted and boring! Sure it was good in the first several chapters but now it just seems to be going on with little reason to care.

It's worth playing to experience the Goddess VICTORIA! she is the only good character in the game, because she's amazing you can skip the rest. However, her appeal has declined since she isn't how she was initially, and I wish the developer maintained what she was like before the story shifted.

Summary- Victoria is amazing, the rest of the game is pretty boring with wierd story

Some sex scenes get pretty rough and hot. Render quality for said scenes is also pretty high. Story is okay, hard for me to really get invested into but I don't mind. Definitely worth a playthrough.

City of Broken Dreamers is absolutely worth all the hype it gets on here. You can tell PhillyGames took everything they learned from Depraved Awakening and cranked it up to 11 with this. The dystopian cyberpunk setting, the uniquely beautiful characters, witty humour, and gripping plot that all mesh to make a standout experience

H-scenes
Overall the animations and statics are phenomenal. Just simple and beautiful (hell, even the transition scenes when travelling are)

The "worst" complaint you will find is having to wait for the next release, but it's understandable when it comes to quality.

Mostly vanilla in terms of kink variety; though plenty of anal, lesbian, and threesome content + the lovely photo gallery for all the found secrets.
You'll once again enjoy it if you love dirty talk or being called "Daddy" (though there's the option to change it to whatever honorific/title you prefer)

In conclusion: Play it. Enjoy the characters, enjoy the underlying wit and eroticism, enjoy the absolute banging soundtrack, and enjoy banging every woman the MC trips over

Absolutely a standout game in the genre which is matched by very few others.

Interesting story premise with great characters and plenty of branching leading to different outcomes. The characters have their own personalities and the writing is strong enough to not result in everyone ending up sounding the same.

Scenes are densely populated and detailed, and the world feels somewhat more realistic because of that, as opposed to the often empty worlds in other games.

While some of the models suffer from overzealous slider use (depending on your personal preferences), they are nonetheless so good that it's easy to ignore. Animation quality is extremely high.

One of the best games on the site, a must play. Great renders and animations. Even more important though is the story telling and writing that draws you in and makes you care for the characters. The sci-fi theme is well done and doesn't feel over the top or ridiculous. The development isn't super fast but updates are always a good size and seem to deliver on the wait. Would definitely recommend to all.

This game is without a doubt one of the top AVN games i have played, the story, Renders, characters & overall writing is very well done & there were quite a few moments in the story where it brought me to tears, because how well the character development was & how things progress from skeptical/distrusting to growing a close bond with somone in the game, i wanted nothing but the best for them, Especially Gloria.

This game, is one of the best out there. Sadly, it doesn't get half the credit it should. Good renders, good plot, the animations are nice, a truly great interface, blending well with the Cyberpunk vibes from the game. And the last game from this dev, was really great too..

Read this a while ago but forgot to rate. Super high quality game. Great UI, awesome models and renders, nice scenes. Victoria's (the redhead) model and seduction skills are off the charts, among the best I have ever seen. Great, fitting sound tracks. Writing and plot on point. One of the best, good job.

When it comes to Adult Visual Novels, PhillyGames is one of the best developers. If you didn't already, I recommend playing the already finished Depraved Awakening. Broken Dreamers follows a similar structure, so you know what to expect.

Some games put a very simple plot just to give context to the sex scenes. That's fine, but Broken Dreamers doesn't exactly fall into this category. It takes its story seriously, but at the same time, doesn't let you hang in blue balls and endless teasing like other games. Brings a good balance of story + sex, with great renders to boot. Recommended.

I dropped this game around the middle of chapter 5 after getting bored with the story. Felt like I went through a thousand lines of dialogue without interruption at one point. The sex scenes were largely good, albeit some felt like filler (scene where you bang a computer program and the sex doll). The BDSM stuff with the newscaster brat was a highlight. Art is quite good.
