Yeah let me go grab something yes i know it's right in this time era, so im not into it just pointing it out, because it was there ideally. Yes there was a timeline for it in real life time as much as i known about it being real, yes women did fall for those trap hole in the walls of buildings.

I don't remember exactly because I last played a few months ago. But I think this one begins with Claire now working directly under Pliny while Chad resumes his original quartermaster role. Talking to him has him send Claire to Valos to investigate and thwart Lecter's plan that centers around the lighthouse there and he will also give Claire 50 silvers to cover her traveling expenses. Maybe a game bug does not allow you to start the task ?

good to know i just got interested and looked through comments about the difference between steam/win version...
but seeing this scat stuff in your post...yeah no thanks im out..thank you for letting people like me know about it
just reading it made me "urgh" cant imagine seeing it..

It's the only scat stuff I'm aware of in the game, but there's also unflagged urination as well in multiple scenes/questlines.
The scat stuff is from a fairly recently added questline, so it wouldn't surprise me to see more 'crap' like that if they keep on this trajectory of being more and more extreme in their content.
And yeah. Totally killed my enjoyment of that questline when it just shows up without any warning, and goes into explicit detail for seemingly no reason. Especially because none of it is in the visual art, they just decided to add it with multiple blocks of texts just cause.

Shouldn't there also be a "sandbox" tag to Claire's Quest? Since you're currently free to explore two of four major islands and (from a starting player's standpoint) a considerable amount of lore to uncover. Sure the updates are pretty crap at times, but imho the devs did a pretty decent job on world-building. Plus, users here recommended that I play a similar game called Roundscape (a sandbox game, has a clusterfuck of bugs though) while waiting for the next update for this one. Just my take on the recent tag-related discussions.

what does the note mean by dev that steam and (WIN) version have different quests?! is one less obscene? or just no incest on patreon? or wtf? so which version should i download if i want to see everything?

Don't let some people fool you, It is just one quest of difference. The pedo one involving those kids. Instead there is another quest in place of it.
Everything else is the same between patreon and steam versions. So go download to check the new content if you wish.
