Could you clarify a couple of points for me?
- I haven’t played the game in a while, and I noticed that there’s now an alternative path, i.e., the option to meet the heroine’s FRIEND. This raises a few questions:
a) If you take the standard path (try to swim to the island), there’s a chance to SAVE THE GIRL and meet her in the future. If you escape alone, she (seemingly) disappears and doesn’t reappear. If you choose the friend’s path, I assume you won’t be able to save anyone, but in the future, you’ll get content with the friend? Is there any point in choosing this particular branch of events?
- I’m referring to the Steam version, and this leads to another question: how far behind is the Steam version compared to other versions? It seems like the main key content is there, but as I understand it, the Steam version doesn’t have content with "children"? Is that the only difference?
- I don’t quite understand the purpose of the different mechanics. Essentially, besides (OBSERVATION) for finding clues or important objects, we don’t really need anything else, because everything else just changes the heroine’s pose and facial expressions in scenes. Even if you play as a strong character and go down the dominator+futa path, it doesn’t really add much—you can still be (futa+dominator WITHOUT these stats), as long as you make the right choices at the monastery. So, I don’t really see why they made it so complicated. From a visual perspective, it just seems like extra work.
- Regarding the walkthrough and how to start it, in short: which island is better to start on, where to go, and what’s the best course of action (a—save the girl, b—take the friend’s path and help with the castle siege)?
- And is there any way to add the missing content to the Steam version?
Thx.
I cant help much with most of those but i will try to answer the ones i think i know
1. If the girl you are refering to is Beth then yes you can saver her later on if you take the rivermont path but you have to go through one of the quest chains in rathpike
2. I cant help much with the steam version since i havent used that one in a few years
3. If you are meaning the skill mechanics they do add a few different perks like cheaper boat rides, increased energy and carry weight the higher you get them. Check the skills menu for clarification because i cant remember them all
4. Pick whatever island you feel is better but if you take the rivermont path you will start in valos no matter what so its is an alright place to start with
5. Again i haven’t used steam in a few years but if i recall i used to just copy the updated version from here into my Steam folder and it usually worked
