I really missing the breeding season, it brought me a lot fun. As for cloud meadow, well, a totally waste of such potential art style and breeding idea.

Yeah I really just don't understand it. It's such a simple idea and I get that it involves a TON of animations, especially whenever you add a new monster and suddenly you need a variation for it with every other monster both male and female, which quickly gets exponentially higher in number.
But like...just do a few an update and you'll eventually catch up?

Most of them just seem to dive in to it and have like 10 different creatures and suddenly they have 200 different animations to do all the while having to figure out a story, characters and world design.

In my opinion I think a lot of games could do with maybe quarterly releases instead of trying to push out monthly ones and pissing people off who were expecting a lot each time.
Wanted to try out this game, but never got too it...so just wanna ask, is the the main thing in this game?
Monster breeding?

Yes, if you're autistic and/or into eugenics.
If you're not then all you got is farming (which has two purposes: making money and supplying food for your monsters) and dungeon running, both of which are tedious grinding after you do it once/twice.

The development priority on this game is just wrong. Nobody cares about hiring new programmer, bug fixes or useless concept art/background. Everyone just trying to jerk off here. The #1 rule of any porn games is just make the gameplay simple, and just keep pumping in more good sex scenes.

I'm kinda glad I found this game years after the clusterfluck development so that I don't have high hopes on this one.

So, I wonder why this game is rated 2 and a half stars on here and has a 95% positive rating on Steam... hmmm. I was curious and did want to try this game out (when I saw it on Steam) but now, not anymore lol.
My best guess is because in Steam you only pay once and thats it. Game and its future updates are yours. You are not really affected by the lackluster updates since you already got your money's worth. As opposed to Patreon backers, who are actually paying extra for nothing burgers.

It kinda makes sense that team nimbus wont let any other artists on board. Its how breeding season got terminated after all. But my problem isnt much the art and more the game itself. Cloud Meadow is really special, but the lack of anything new just comes across as "the team doesn't personally Like working on the game." Like I said, im hoping that we're wrong. but the reality is that the team, or someone in the team probably dug their heels and are refusing to work on the game, and the management isn't removing them from fear of the same events that brought down breeding season, or maybe even just incompotency. Either way, we can only hope the team can prove us wrong, or may e a seperate team can make their own to beat out CM. Likeley Nyphelem at this point.
I wouldn't be surprised if that person is SPurple again lol

Is the game shit or is it fun to play or atlest a good wank
Let's put it this way: just look up a video of the animations on any random porn vid site. Doesn't matter if the video is 3-4 years old, the actual "content" hasn't budged an inch in that time. This is easily one of (if not the most) milked cash cow in porn games...actually kind of fitting, thinking about the game's themes :ROFLMAO:

Edit: Gotta say, this post sure is aging well.
it's gonna be really interesting how you guys justify these attitudes when we actually fully launch and prove all of these scummy rumors about our integrity false.

At lease Scamcitizen developed bedsheet deformation mechanics.
What Cloud Meadow developed for the past 6 years? They mastered the art of posting changelog of changelogs :KEK:

Always see what those reviews say, instead of just looking at the numbers.
Last time I checked, steam reviews are most likely the devs' alt accounts or hired writers, bullshit like "The story is Great!" "Battle system is perfect!""Game mechanics are amazing!"
Not to mention, Cloud Meadow put up a very appealing and deceiving first image, be a very unique and fun "porn breeding" genre that we still don't have any game available, and some good initial arts. Many people don't look past that to see what a big scam it really is.
That's why it succeeded as the one of the biggest and still ongoing scam, for 6 years already.

In the recently version they even removed incest content. I prefer back to BreedSeason to create a perfect catgirl or something, not play this for farming.

the reason was incest is removed is because patreon dont want it these extreme fetish tags or else their foreign bank companies will block their payments.

I always check the reviews lol. I was just expecting the numbers to be more negative. Had to browse the 1,000+ reviews to find the actual good ones (the negative ones lol)

These reviews basically sum it up and no, not from the Dev/Alt accounts etc x3

1. Over two years of development and barely any actual progress has been made. Game is still Early Access, devs throw out a tiny update every once in a while that usually breaks your save file or wipes your monster data, forcing you to start over from scratch. Patreon supporters are given access to cheats that mitigate this data loss while people who have purchased via Steam are told "Cheats are supposed to be a reward for community support." and left with no option but to repeatedly start over from scratch whenever an update is released. Seems to me that the devs are simply banking on Patreon donations (literally) and using the "Early Access" designation as a means of being paid to do next to nothing. I had some high expectations for this game but none of them have been met in the two years since it dropped. At this point I'm just gonna request a refund.

2. I'd recommend not buying this game unless you're looking at this review many years in the future. The game is extremely low on content and game play, and the development is at a snails pace, with an average of 2 real updates a year. After 4 years of taking people's money they've completed 2 floors of a dungeon and a broken farm.

That E.A crap pisses me off lol. They should add a new rule, If the Dev is found out to be a scammer, liar, milker, etc, their game should get removed. I mean, report the game, let them know what is happening. It's not right that this game, and another one that recently got abandoned, are still up and sold. I wish people would let Patreon know too! get them banned from these sites, we have to do something.

It's like, they can just take people's money and get away with it Scott free? There has to be repercussions. People should help each other out and keep an eye out for these scammers, milkers and such. Show them we aren't stupid and are tired of getting played or seeing others getting taken advantage of.

You mean like, it's a blueprint, an outline, nothing you can physically touch or connect with. Something that was there, that had life, something real, that sadly faded way into nothingness <----- what I said, definitely doesn't mean anything :x

Because these platforms don't care about the people, they only about money. As long as there's no 3rd party (like consumer protection bureau or sth) to regulate them, they won't do a thing.

The only thing us customer can do, is to train ourselves to get better judgement. I think there's a "Artists Beware" website blacklist scammers, but that's more about commissions.

BTW I meant the fake positive reviews. You need to see both side to get a better picture. :p
And for those legit positive reviews, this game does seems promising if it's still in Year 1, rather than Year 6.

Yeah, I guess all companies are the same... but if someone took matters into their own hands, I won't blame them.

Well, I already know what to look out for. I just hope more people will end up knowing what to look out for as well. We have to avoid these roaches like the plague.

I know some Devs use alts and stuff for fake positive reviews lol You can easily tell.
