Anyone have a rough idea how the virtual orb system works? As best as I can tell accepting a change with 'imagination' uses up a bunch of coloured orbs from the square on the top right, but I don't know which colour it takes. Is it always the same? Do different colours have different effects?

There is at least one partial walk-through early on in the thread. AFAIK there is no complete and up to date walk-through. The author isn't interested in doing one, which is fair, especially if you ask them on a pirate forum.
I'm curious about the story, but the gameplay is a bit too slow for my liking.
The game shows you what colors, and how many of each orb something will cost. But I'm assuming you haven't got that far and are just talking about the forced changes.
The mirror uses purple orbs to increase your potential size limits IRL, and you're forced into a choice when walking past the mirror while holding at least 4 purples. The cost to resist the change scales by 10 with how many purples you have, usually making your first time costing too much to fully resist. Maximum resistance can actually remove 2 purples if you're can afford the cost of green bar. But you can half resist for like half the cost, but doesn't remove any purples. If you've got more than 10, I think its impossible to go with a full resist, since the cost is above your maximum green bar. There isn't any real reason to resist besides personal preference right now (but I assume one day there will be a real story reason to choose the option), so just put your points to whichever stat you prefer, chest or hips. The main benefit is making room for the other colors.
Once you get to the dream home, the mirror in there can be voluntarily used to get body changes at the cost of orbs with specific combinations. It's all pretty optional right now, just for people to have a customization options.
same thats why im waiting. at some point hte game will have enough story and a solid walkthrough to make it worth playing. i dont mind puzzles but this games more obscure than my brain can put up with XD.

It probably didn't help that I had an imaginary knife equipped. (I had a knife in the dream world labs, when I woke up the knife was gone but the space where the knife was was still equipped).

Oh, and minor but annoying thing. There are two drinking fountains in the school. Could we actually DRINK from them? It would be logical and useful.

Hello, enjoyable game with cool design. Any clue as to which puzzle contains body swap element?

Besides that, if I may ask... I remember that, last time I played, Kari would regularly visit my home. I don't remember well how it happens. Is it after the sleepover event? Right now, she only visited my home once, and "ran from it" at some point in the dialogue. What are the conditions for her to visit regularly or something like that?

Story segments are meant to be interchangeable. Refer to a chart I've posted 5 pages back. There's nothing wrong with Rin bringing up things earlier than she should.
I don't understand the order of events you're describing.
Post your save; I'll take a look at the flags.

Requirements: Found Kari in the dream world, Sleepover done, talk to Kari about weather.

Notable Bug Fixes:
- This event is much more free form. The player can actually move around the beach initiating sequences.
- There are variations depending on how you tackle problems. Probably worth playing through twice.
- There are also minor differences depending on whether PC is still male or female.
- Everyone gets some time, but this is mostly Kari focused. I think.
- There are 3 endings to it, depending on the last choice.

Other:
- Added 3 more manual save slots to the home desk.
- Added some basic game mechanics documentation to the home desk.
Notable Bug Fixes:
- A small segment of conversation with Rin at the dream home was missing on the last update, the one with the mirror
- Disabled “imagine” option in freeplay; to avoid softlocks. All thresholds are already unlocked and dissonance serves no purpose in Freeplay
I really like the graphics, fetishes and overall idea. But please, maybe in the future you can make alternative female protag start? And change the story for her slow corruption. I think this will allow many more players who do not feel good with the mtf transformation to play the game. Is there a chance?

Man I struggle to reach a point where more story can even happen. I love the game, but the puzzles are really hard uff !
Does Hunger and Thirst actually affect anything (starving to death?) or can I ignore them? Honestly the game could do very well without that mechanic.
Same goes for showering - at least make it so that if no new animation plays the entire animation is skipped. Small Sound cue should completely suffice.
