Honestly pretty damn good. A slow burn, but also really feels like the characters develop at a natural pace, not too fast or too slow. Some typos here and there, lighting issues that could and should definitely be addressed as it kinda rips you out of the experience when it happens, reused poses/renders that really could have used new "scenes"/renders and at times just not use new ones at all. A little touch up on the scenes would perfect this, and while this isn't really a deal breaker in any way at all, I definitely recommend remastering or fixing these up. A few lines dont track from the old version to the new one correctly, but that's a minor flaw easy to overlook.

Some bugs using the phone, and the stats could be tracked better. I had some people (Wont name who to avoid spoils) that I was NOT friends with that it said I was. A small thing, but with having a tracker I feel this should be addressed.

A few times I felt I wish I could have had a "third" option instead of just the two I got for certain events, but overall really enjoyed all of the choices.

In conclusion, while this is what I would consider a rough state, I would also say this has high potential to be an extremely good VA of at least A tier quality even if these issues stay assuming the story stays good. Just remember dev if you are reading this, that a touch up would really go a long way. Also, while some may say this is simply a clone/knock off/etc of Being A Dik, I don't agree. They just share the college theme and tell different stories with different characters, and it all feels exactly that, different. While this doesn't really reach BAD's level, it's pretty damn close IMO and definitely could depending on the level of work put into this to fix already mentioned issues, and having the story rival BAD in terms of length.

P.s. I really hope we get to experience the full four years, and then maybe have a final 5th (Epilogue) year where it is all about entering the world, and playing out a final narrative timeline with whomever your end up with, etc. Just a wish. I really think this slowburn thing is a great advantage that no other VN right now could truly rival aside from possibly BAD. It would also be nice that as the years pass the story gets more serious and mature to reflect the time passing, characters developing, things becoming more "real"/serious, yada yada. Just my two sense.

Either way. Keep up the great work, I really can't wait to read more, and I'm so happy I decided to give this a chance.

I'm confused! What's the difference between Season 1 [v15.1.0] which is the last one I played, and Act 1 [1.1.2s] ?

15.1.0 is only the first season and it ends where u streetfight some dude who's mad at you for snitching on Charlie.
1.1.7 is as of now the latest update (season 2 only) I think
On Steam I guess they called it Act 1, 2 and 3 instead of Season 1 & 2

1.1.7 is the full 1 Episode for CK2.
1.1.2 is the full 3 Acts for CK1.
The authors changed Seasons to Episodes.
If there were still Seasons then they would have to use Acts.
It is more convenient to write a whole Episode and release it, and then fix bugs and release fixes on the fly - bug fixes are handled by other team member(s).

So can you make Aubrey your GF in the resturant in london or does she always say no?
She’s not super fussy, as long as you’ve ended with a total of 4 points she’ll accept to being your girlfriend.
The more points you have, the better the dialogue she will have in this scene, and if you got the maximum possible 11 points by picking all the right answers, you earn the Achievement: Perfect date.

If you haven't even scored 4 points then optionally use College Kings 2: Episode I Walkthrough.
After opening Walkthrough, go to page 99 and start with Planning the date with Aubrey (located at the very end of page 98).

No, you can be with Chloe and Aubrey.
On my last save, I'm with Chloe and Aubrey.
You just screwed up at some point or didn't score at least 4 points during the preparation for the date and during the restaurant date. I'm not going to write out every opportunity to get all 11 points here, because I've shared an official guide you can use.

OK, so I last played 15.1 & stopped at the fight over Charlie (being a b*tch). So is there another episode to finish up CK1, or was that the end of CK1 and now I need to start CK2 with v1.1.7? Or was there something else that closed out CK1?

15.1 is outdated. You need to download CK1 1.1.2 and start a new game (new save), as it is the current full version of the game. At the very end of CK1, you make a manual save of the game (when the MC will be returning from Europe by plane or at the airport after leaving the plane). Then you download CK2 1.1.7 and in the game go to the Load tab, where you will have a purple button that will let you load the manual save from CK1 and you can continue your game. As of today, the story ends at the end of Episode 1 in CK2. The continuation of the story will be in Episode 2 for CK2.

WTF....bro, you know how long it took to play dozen paths through v15! But thank you for explaining this, I appreciate it!
* Any chance you have a Wolves Path & Apes path saved at the end of CK1?

The conversation at dinner in London is just the beginning of the "Aubrey GF" path. She won't be interested at this point but, in Amsterdam, you can continue to hint at wanting a relationship beyond just FWB.
Do that and Aubrey will agree to a dinner date in CK2 (which is the dinner Richiman is talking about).
Avoid messing that up and Aubrey will become your GF (possibly one of four!).
There are hints later on that Aubrey isn't super happy if you're also dating Chloe (or anyone else) but it won't prevent her from agreeing to be your GF.

Looks like it did read my old saves, and you were right, it ended just as you landed back from Europe. I saved it there, so hoping this save transfers to CK2. Thanks again

Season 1 - an outdated version from Patreon. The seasons are no longer available. In CK1 they were changed to Acts. In CK2 you now have Episodes.

Act I - the current full version of CK1 from Steam. Includes Act I, II and III (3 acts total).

Simply select Act I (this is simply the name of the game "College Kings - Act I", since CK1 starts with Act 1 and ends with Act 3.
