I would've said this game started out on the 'same as others' path (specifically, the game that shall not be mentioned as stated in the OP) and in the process of trying to be unique, it veered off into something uniquely disjointed and uniquely buggy.

Most girls will not want a friendship after being cheated on, some can salvage a friendship especially if it started as one, but a few crazy ones like Emily you should stay away from. You can't assume all girls are the same or compare a whore to a faithful girl with morals.
Most stories, especially those in the romantic area, draw from real life experience. My advice is to go outside, get some sun, and meet some real people. Who knows, maybe even meet a real life girl. Because it is obvious to anyone who has interacted with the opposite sex and has had 1 or more girlfriends.
Shame they couldn't have just added the 'bug fix' or whatever this 'update' is instead of having to download 10.5gb again.
You can say what you like about the game here ... but what I definitely like about the game ... that you don't have to wait 15 months for an update and nobody bothers you with math problems!
At some point they lost their writer, which it never recovered from IMO. Then they switched to a "season 2" that was essentially nothing more than a cash grab and they failed to maintain the progress from the story from the previous season. which made it all seem disjointed.

of course ... but .... if you don't expect anything, you can't be disappointed ... the game here hasn't disappointed me so far ... i had a few hours of fun and have paid 0 dollars so far
.... i can think of dozens of hollywood movies i paid good money for and came out of the theater frustrated For the last few months, my only answer to that has been "plaay a different one."
There are some path-builder options that still let me play a functioning game but a lot seems to have gone wrong somewhere.
Fair point, some people will forgive a cheater, but some will not. This is entirely realistic.
A lot of people don't like realism in games, granted...

for me it became mid when they went to Europe it was interesting before that to me. still haven't played Act 2 myself as I heard it's a mess I plan to at some point just not sure when

Same here, only played the first release of Act 2 but it got kind of messy/buggy. This is one of those games that if got less branchy and a bit more linear it would be a great help for the development of it so probably will caught up to it near the end of Act 2. This game started as tier A game for me and dropped until tier C what usually deserves a compressed install from me instead of the full version, can't drop more or I simply delete and forget about it hehe.
Calling this game "mid" with the sheer amount of advanced payout content is kinda harsh imo. It also is one of the better games out there as far offering a more "americanized" setting and story take on the college experience. And one that leans less then most into the "mindless fuckbot harem" pet-the-player-ego aspects for those out there that generally might find that stuff rather overly cringe'y.
But let's be blunt. Any update this game pushes out at this point is just going to include payout carrot content that essentially is just on repeat. Nora sex scene #9 or whatever isn't anywhere as appealing as the first couple times. That in itself makes this game stale whether it's classified as a "haerm game" or not lol.
They should of wrapped this game up and moved on to new developmental project by now. Especially considering the amount of money it pulled in at it's peak interest levels.

Agreed. The only thing I really enjoyed in Europe was Nora. Then you get back home and she fucks off for a while so you can have the election and after reconnecting with her I lost all interest. I remember something about a pool party or something but then it wasn't well received and was gonna get re-worked or something. Granted this was probably a year ago or so.

Lol......I see nothing has changed in season 2 as far as bugs and more bugs and the saving system....yeah
I see that is still hit or miss. What a waste to what was once a pretty good game in my humble opinion.
Updating this game is like playing Russian roulette.....you never know where that next bug is in the chamber!
