can't get part 2 to start, I am stuck on the loading screen. Would anyone have a recommendation what to do with this? Log below

seems it is looking for steam which it cannot find (the drive does not exist anymore). After some searching in the thread I found the compressed version that mentioned fixing startup errors here but that one also does not get any further:

Solved it by rebuilding it for Mac distribution. the file uploaded in splits for act one was not for Mac but windows.

Hey, I’m playing the main game with the Duke Mod installed, and I’ve run into an issue between the end of Episode 4 and the start of Episode 5.

After I finish Episode 4, instead of continuing the story, the game sends me back to the scene where I knock out Cameron — the same scene where you're supposed to take control of the two fraternities. It loops at that point and won’t move forward into Episode 5.

At one point I also got this error:

AttributeError: 'StoreModule' object has no attribute 'AUBREY'

Even if I click “Ignore,” the game still loops back to the same moment.

I saw that someone else mentioned having the same problem, but I couldn't tell if they ever found a fix.

Has anyone else run into this? Is there a solution or workaround? 1000080646.png

Seems the problem was on my end. after running into a few other non-related issues I wiped my machine and now it is running, but only with the firewall off. Need to play with the settings I suppose

Hey dev, i just want to say at this dialog between MC, Lindsey and Chloe is kind of weird. In this CK2 timeline, MC helps both of girls for their campaign and Lindsey WON but his relationship between MC and Chloe is friend, and MC and Lindsey is FWB. So, obviously the dialog between MC and Lindsey invited MC to her room is OK, but somehow Chloe didnt invite MC to her room but the choice is shown. AND obviously, up until this choice is the only one MC having lovemaking or a kiss between both of them, and somehow her dialog during lovemaking Chloe says that they are boyfriend and girlfriend. I think you can make the Chloe dialog is like inviting MC to her room to say Chloe was thankful to him for helping even she loss and always be there for her. And then Chloe want MC to be his boyfriend and girlfriend. If you dont trust me you guys can try this choice and try to make sense of the dialog.

Update, lol later MC need to choose between them or nothing. HAHAHA. Btw, Chloe became MC girlfriend after i choose to go Chloe room during first picture above.

This was a known bug in the early versions of the latest release. Make sure you're running Version 6.3.10 or later and, if that is the case, delete the mod.

It won't matter, the import save feature is buggy as hell, has been for years. It will just randomly change some of your choices and completely forget others.
Better to use the start at chapter feature and make the choices there. :devilish:

I Keep running into this error and it is game breaking. It sends me back through the game so far and I dont know how to get around this. Can anyone help?

Are you using the newest version, in your log looks like you are using College Kings 2 v6.3.1

This was one of my favorite games initially, and it became such an unplayable buggy mess that I gave up on it and just deleted it from my PC. I had kept it for such a long time hoping everything would get resolved, but no. It's a shame, really, but it's time to put a gun to the back of its head and put it out of its misery, then start fresh.
