i have an issue when i go to messages on the phone the game kinda froze for a little bit, someone knows why?

Hey everyone,

With College Kings 2 finally completed, I wanted to make a video giving you insight into some of the challenges we faced during the last few years, how things are going to change from now on and telling you all about our next game, which is releasing before College Kings 3.

In case you don't have time for either, here's a quick TLDR:

  • Due to burnout and the immense work load, I felt I needed help writing CK in order to continue delivering releases and actually finish the game
  • Over the course of 5 years that lead to me feeling like the game lost my personal voice and I was yearning for full creative control and something to be fully mine again
  • Early on during episode 6 production I had to take time off for health reasons when I suddenly felt the urge to write something new
  • In 3 months I wrote an entirely new game all by myself: a detective AVN called Murders & Mistresses
  • It'll be darker than CK, but still have the authenticity, character-focus and heart that I started CK1 one with many years ago.
  • The experience of writing M&M has reignited my passion for CK and I have fully plotted out CK3 by this point
  • I will write all of CK3 by myself, and I see it as a fresh start, to do what I wanna do and nothing else
Overall I believe M&M is my best writing to date and I'm very excited to share it with you.

You can expect a demo later this year and the early access on Patreon, followed by a full release next year. Once M&M is done, I should have written enough of CK3 that we can start producing it, with a demo and Patreon early access in 2026, followed by a full release in 2027.

I can't put my finger one it but something feels weird/off.

why the new youtube channel and face reveal?
other than having something for patreon ?


P.S. this game having a cheating angle or open relationship not really my cup of tea other than having multipal LI ,i don't see why MC is married in the first place ,maybe it works better if it's planned from beginning but will see.

I'm only guessing, but I wonder if he felt that doing a video and showing his face would come across as more sincere and honest than words on a page and encouraging people to stick with him or gain some new patrons.

I'd agree on M&M too, I don't understand why (in any non-kinetic game really) there is a forced gf or wife. It just takes away the player agency, and if we choose to ditch the wife for someone else, then we have to play as a cheater. :( But yeah, we'll see what it's like I guess.
