Tbf in general I would have (personally) prefered MC and Cindy to be in a more equal relationship, as the game is more of a power fantasy for the mc who decides everything for all the girls. But other than that, I don't have any major complaint.

I felt the same, and, honestly, it was BECAUSE HappySteve made her less present in this update. Until now, it was a feast of sex, netori, nts, cuckqueaning, just fun all around. But the truth is that, even if the MC can encourage and enjoy Cindy's mischief with other guys, the dominant note was always Cindy truly wanting to see her Will be the guy who conquers all - as it SHOULD be, that's the brilliant key that sits this game in such rare company.

But feeling how Cindy took more of a back stage this time, focused on her own matters that are different than Will's, was important for Will to realise how much she matters to him. It wasn't soppy romanticism, but an inflexion that was necessary for them to BECOME equals. Cindy was Will's devoted lioness, Will was the lion that mostly accepted the catch that Cindy brought him. This is changing, now. He took the initiative with Audrey, full time, no longer needed Cindy's encouragement - she encouraged HER, and they felt more of a team this time, but the contrast with previous updates was strong. But that also required that Will now re-focused on Cindy.

The childhood scene was very candid, and so was Will's "superhero" burst out of the depths, the contrast with the more edgy tone of the rest of the story is strong, so I believe it's very intentional. It made him aware of his true feelings for Cindy. Next, he'll have to prove himself to her, and I'm confident he will succeed, and both characters will progress significantly, without losing anything fundamental. But it required that they were momentarily parted, so Will could gain a sense of purpose. Again, I like how HSG did it without imposing a physical separation that might have damaged the roll of the story. Just a mild discomfort that a lot of players felt, a sense of longing for Cindy creeping in, that will he resolved in a forthcoming update.

Loved how Steve mistreated the chief dude. Quite refreshing. I wouldn't mind this were his only visit to the story, but wouldn't mind the opposite either. It was proven he was no match. He was cucked in the same room while passed out, even as Alfred was being cucked while peeking through the window. Different levels, same essence. Heck, if Eustace himself could go for another round and "big chief no shit" fell asleep, how much lower can he get? That was genius shit.

good update overall glad the past mistakes where fixed this update seems even the bone graph was fixed/changed to a new power for will,
didn't like the snotty high lord talking trash to MC In front of Cindy but at least she told him so shut up, still agree with some here that she's not really stating she's with Will while in the presence of these high lords i don't know yet why she's not, my theory is either the boss told her not to for some reason politicly or maybe there is something planned that they haven't told will yet. i am hoping they don't try some arranged marriage crap to Cindy

It's partly true, but that's not all for me. I think the fact that you're always asked about every single sharing scene also gives that feeling. Of course, having choices is important, especially if it's about "new" or spicier things. But once the boundaries are established, I don't think it's always necessary to ask for every single thing that are within those boundaries (and thus, the corresponding path chosen). Mc doesn't always ask for Cindy's autorization, not because he betrayed her no, but because he knows she's ok with it. I just wish she could be the same, it'd feel she has more agency, she could be more playful toward mc, provocating him while he does the same (when they are together). If something is blurry, they can talk. Cindy indeed doesn't need to "fall" for any other man (I don't think what we saw in the story means something ominous, I'm 99.9% sure there's a explanation), but just to show as much initiative as she did when she started to plant those sharing ideas in MC's mind in the beginning of the game. Sure scenaristically MC is a dominant man, so it's coherent he's always the one deciding things, but she kinda is a dominant woman too, so it would fit their relationship imho.
That's just my selfish rant, because I feel like very few games do that. It's often either the betrayal NTR or the stag MC who controls everything (not just for his girl but even the other ones). A bit of nuance makes the experience even more immersive for me.
I complain a lot, but I actually like the way Cindy acts most of the time. She still has that spice in her.

Will has already shown this to her from the beginning and Cindy has done this a few times too, the problem is that she doesn't show this very much around the rich people at college or powerful acquaintances. However, it could be her acting around those rich people, I hope that's it because the way she treats Will is hilarious.
Don't get me wrong, Cindy isn't humiliating Will, she's just treating him like an acquaintance around elite people, not like a boyfriend and childhood friend.
Anyway, it could be that shitty wedding planned for her in the future. Lol

It was cool, even a little disappointing, but my eyes were more on that chocolate with melons.
We started off well with her, now I'm looking forward to seeing Will getting covered in chocolate in lots of places with her and even making a chocolate cake in that oven.


Alfred and Fred can both have a drink at the bar together, losing girls over the same guy is not easy.

It's so simple, subtle, but has a depth at the same time.
I love stories that aren't too rigid, don't micro explain everything that's happening, and that allows a reader to explore the story, it's meaning, and the only limit is the reader's own imagination and interpretation...
I know it's mostly a porn story.
But damn, the character story is just so, awesome. I'm also medicated, so...

Like the dragon girl in Game of Thrones...

aint gonna lie i loved that part with the Kraken and how Cindy went berserk to avenge her love thinking he died, and at the same time will thinking of protecting Cindy and launching out of the water like aqua man and slaughtering everything in his path lolz true love there was a good feeling. and the powerful peeps in awe of there new power was cool too, just worry that they will use them for there own purposes.

as for power dynamics i never felt Cindy was stronger than Will, maybe i didn't see it i felt he was always a protector of hers, and the only Power difference for me was when she was handed Duchess out of the blue for, sorry to say not doing very much other than motivating Will. still not happy that he didn't get Rewarded for his contributions, and lets see if he gets rewards this time or if Cindy is handed all the rewards yet again. And while Will as a person might not care, i as the player do care

Did the gloryhole scene (second visit) get removed? I tried to replay a bit of the previous update and didn't find it: for one, I'm sad that it's gone. I do understand how it pissed many players and also, in light of this new chapter, how it might have reinforced an idea of NTR looming over the horizon if taken in a certain way. Maybe it's saved for a later comeback, when all possible doubts are dissipated.

To me, it didn't seem like cheating at all, it was exactly what some others felt missing about Cindy's autonomy. She knows Will enjoys that she's naughty. It's not like she's taking it as carte blanche to fuck everyone, all the time. She likes that he encourages her, but that gloryhole scene was her treat to him, a surprise he quite enjoyed. We shouldn't take it literally that "she was so horny she couldn't wait for him". She timed it so she'd get caught in the act, and he loved it.

Anyway, it seems like it's gone, probably a good idea, just think it's a well written scene that could make a comeback in the future, if it makes sense. The mighty Duchess making a nostalgic comeback to a certain tavern in a village where she and Will already established quite a different reputation.

Cindy isn't "physically" stronger than Will. But she has had a power Will hasn't from the start...
Will has primarily been her big, protective puppy dog.
Now, Will has risen to match/complement in an equal way, and be worthy of Cindy...

The powers that be are moving them as pieces on a game board, they give and take as they please. Both Cindy and Will play along because they have no personal stakes in the game. Will, for sure, has just realized his only goal is to fight for a world where he and Cindy can be happy. I just hope he can make his vision prevail over those who'd dismiss it as a country boys dreams.

Cindy may have a bit wider motivation, it was always her purpose to study at the college, she is world-aware and people-aware, might eventually do well in politics - but as a politician, she's no different than Lady Gwen, that much is explicit. She despises the sycophants that surround her. She knows how selfish and mean they are, and irrelevant in the higher scheme. Perhaps she might prove more forgiving or generous if it comes to her making decisions, but overall she sees the big picture. Yet, at the same time, she clearly wouldn't sacrifice Will over the fate of the world, if it came to that. Fuck all. Unleash them krackens

Hope you're right, I replayed the scene where Will leaves Cindy at the gloryhole to walk puppy-Wendy around the common room, then he fucked Grace or something, and it closed with Wendy being covered in cum, but no Cindy being fucked through the gloryhole. I may have skipped though a bit too fast and missed it. Would be nice if it were the case, next version I'll play again from the beginning, URM told me I'd seen only 75% of the content by the time I finished, so between changes made and possibly new content added to earlier chapters, it's worth going back.

Gwen is grooming Cindy to replace her...
Cindy has the attitude, personality that Gwen knows will be needed.
Will is being groomed to be Lord of Night/Gwen's dude "replacement" in the "mortal" realm to complement Cindy.

Gwen made Cindy a Duchess for two reasons...
1. to put Cindy on a "legitimate" path to ruling later on...when Gwen "departs".
2. as a "reward" so Wendy could "legitimately" stay at the College with Will and Cindy.
Gwen is definitely showing Cindy and Will some favoritism, but it's not unwarranted and a clear reversal of the current "status quo" with the do nothing nobles and replacing them with "capable" people, regardless of birth/blood status...

It seems "shallow" on the surface. But the backstory of the nobles, their purpose, how they haven't been doing it but using their status for personal benefit rather than "service"/protection of the realm... Gwen is pissed... And bloody changes are being made...

There seems to be a little foreshadowing about how this will end, and it's becoming clear this is Gwen's last effort to set the world on a path she and her man initially started it on... But before she does what needs to be done (leading to her "departure" from that realm), she's making sure there is someone, Cindy, that can replace her, and Will there to protect her from any BS...
