He has actually commented on this before. There will be no NTR for Cindy, unless the player expressly activates it. He stated that much later in the story there will be a chance for the MC to effectively dump/betray Cindy in an express overt act. In which case she will move on to others.
Nothing has been removed from the gh scene, it's just kind of confusing by nature of how tangled up the options are so to speak, it's all there you just have to try different option combinations. Some of the cg was changed and some was added. The changes are very minor and primarily added to make avoiding routes simple.
The scene was a lesson for me to not make scenes with so much going on.
I don't want to outright answer questions like that, it's essentially a spoiler. The questioning of what Cindy will actually do IMO is part of the story. I'm not going to go into narrator voice and be like "This is Cindy she loves MC and nobody else no matter what, ever." As the reader you should be able to make your own observations and assumptions.

I thought you wouldn't change the scene, same for Wendy in that gh scene for whatever reason.
I am willing to give another try for this game due to the change you made. Hopefully not get disappointed again.

I said something similar in another thread about those that call themselves "alpha" and/or "dominant". It's always the people that have to tell people they are because absolutely aren't.Moderators or the owner of this forum should add a new genre tag like "netorase" or "sharing" as a separate tag to netorare (cuckold) to finally end this never-ending conflict of cuckery, but the mods definitely won't do this simple, practical solution to the ntr tag problem, as there would be thousands of public outcries from vanilla cucks to get rid of ntr-related tags, including swinging, because it would hurt their 'tiny' fee-fee ego so much to the point they wouldn't be able to cope with it because they couldn't handle seeing their 2D video game waifus being taken by computer-generated characters. Ffs, it's almost always those vanilla harem lovers' bullshit who ruin anything NTR-related. They always delude themselves as some sort of alpha chad xxx_pussy_slayer when in real life they're almost always either thin-wristed, mouth-breathing skeletons or fat, smelly neckbeards. Anywhooo, a few more tags or more detailed tags would solve a lot of problems for all of us. Some of us have been asking for clearer tags for years now but the mods want to keep them trimmed down.
The NTR tag was never an issue for me personally. I'm not male, i'm not self inserting the MC, don't care who bangs who as long as it's fun. But I could do with less of the constant arguing over it. I've seen more fights over ntr than I have about anything else on these forums.
Technically you are right and to a degree the story give a certain impression about Cindy and her intentions.
That being said, it's been far less clear since you made her a noble. Like I mentioned earlier in the thread, she hasn't told any of the nobles she's off limits and doesn't really react much when they talk to the MC like he's a piece of shit.
I'm not going to take any wild guesses as to what will happen in the future of the story but how she has been acting since being made noble is like the classic setup to an NTR story.
I said it above, it's not something that concerns me but the whole ntr thing is such a firestarter on these forums that people will demand clarity and if Cindy does start cheating be prepared for a rather messy shitstorm.

Fair enough on that. Was mainly referring to earlier comments during the initial months of the game but plans and insights could definitely have evolved since then. I agree in general not to spoil on plot points but this particular topic I have found leads to much angst as groups on both sides get focused on why certain actions have or have not happened. In general I tend to favor knowing if a game will or will not have avoidable NTR in the future but I can understand how that can be hard to know and harder to commit to or reveal beforehand.
I totally understand that you don’t want to spoil anything and that the uncertainty around Cindy’s behavior is part of the story — that’s fair and even interesting narratively.
The only concern is that when a game openly advertises itself as Netori / Netorase, players expect agency. If the story ends up forcing an NetoraRe outcome with Cindy — even indirectly, under the cover of “ambiguity” — it’ll feel like a bait-and-switch.
This genre lives and dies by consent and clarity: players who want NTR will activate it, and those who don’t should be able to enjoy the story without worrying that a “hidden” flag will suddenly make Cindy cheat.
Keeping that trust is crucial, especially on these forums where people are hypersensitive to forced NTR.
Just a bit of transparency (“no forced NTR, always player-triggered”) would prevent a lot of unnecessary drama later on.
And if the real intent of the story is to move toward a true NTR path — which is totally legitimate too — then it’s perfectly fine, as long as players are clearly informed so they can choose whether they want to experience that kind of story or not.

You're right in general terms, but let me just raise the question of whether this game even warrants that people worry about it. I understand where the anxiety comes from - believe me, I've been there - but in this case, I see no ambiguity, trusted the author from the onset and the story seems to confirm, update after update, where the author's focus is in. They seem to enjoy immensely what they're doing, rather than catering to, or navigating the muddy waters of, player expectations and fixations. This is the story they want to write, feels entirely like a romance in an epic fantasy world, with kinky elements - and plenty of options to avoid what you don't like.
Cindy and Will are characterized throughout the story, we get to know them better as the game progresses. People, here, have said there's a perceived imbalance in Cindy and Will's roles: some say Cindy is the stronger character because she has most of the initiative, while he mainly benefits from her actions; others say Will feels more dominant, because Cindy is acting mainly "in his benefit". I don't want to discuss either perspective, just to note that both show that Cindy has always been there for Will, waited for him, "hunted" for him, teased him and got herself entangled with other guys FOR HIM. Whereas Will has been waking up to that he's the most important thing in her life, throughout the whole game. It's been there, in plain sight; buried much deeper is the fact that she's also the most important thing to him. That needed to be dug up and brought to the surface. These aren't static characters, it's top level writing. Cindy herself has been getting to know Will better and adjusting to his kinks, but she made her decision long ago.
Will's coming to grips with the reality that CINDY CLAIMED HIM - not through dominance and manipulation, but by simply giving herself entirely to him - canon romance. In order to move on, he needs to claim her, too. Not by being possessive, but by figuring out how to give himself entirely to her, too. Bring her the proof of love that she never asked for. This knowledge is moving from deep within his unconscious dream world, into consciousness and purpose. I believe that's where we're at. To go from here to any simplistic arc like cheating would be senseless, that's how I feel it. If Steve decides to write about Cindy moving on to someone else, it will be because Will couldn't rise up to the challenge, because of player choices. I don't think this will ever be the canon path of the story and don't worry about it at all.

Yeah, that’s actually one of the reasons I’m so invested in this story — I find Will and Cindy extremely well written. There’s a real sense of love, vulnerability, and balance between them that goes way beyond what you usually see in this kind of game. It genuinely feels like a love story that happens to explore certain kinks, not a kink pretending to be a love story.
And I totally agree with you — the author’s writing is absolutely beautiful. There’s real emotion and maturity behind it, which is exactly why I care so much about how it’s presented.
I’ll admit the author’s recent reply made me a bit uneasy, which is why I mentioned the idea of a minimum level of transparency.
It’s not about questioning the writing or the vision — I absolutely respect that — but about helping players manage expectations. When something is tagged Netori / Netorase, people naturally assume a certain kind of agency, and if that changes midway without warning, it can lead to a lot of frustration even if the writing stays great.
You know as well as I do how explosive this topic can get — NTR discussions can blow up in seconds — so a little clarity upfront goes a long way in keeping the community on board and focused on what really matters: the story itself.

Liked the update, replayed the end sequence of the previous one to see the changes and feel like they were decently done. Now you can choose to overtly share either Wendy, Cindy or neither. I did find it interesting that if you share Wendy twice you can't share Cindy fully.
Also, after this update I don't see how you could put any true NTR in this game without it turning the story into dogwater.

This is why I feel it's right to speculate a bit about it, here. This is the kind of story that invites fan fiction. The world and characters are very well characterized, but not set it stone. While that can sometimes rub off as ambiguity, it also opens space for readers to add a bit out of their imagination, regardless of how we may later be proven dead wrong. When stories invite this, it just extends the joy beyond the moment you stop reading.

All those going on about what is, isn't...won't...their undying bond...paragraphs of fact instead of opinion...remember, he already slipped in a NTR scene with Cindy getting fucked without permission last update then hastily changed it after the backlash.
Don't be too sure where it's heading....and right now, the way Cindy acts with the other guys...Steve is certainly leaning hard into the old tropes, even if it is just lame cheap flame bait (for now). But be sure, despite his words, he has already tried it once, masquerading it under the NTS path.

I see what you mean, and I actually agree that a degree of openness can make a story more engaging — especially in traditional storytelling, where interpretation and imagination are part of the experience. But even in literature, readers choose the genre upfront. The cover, blurb, tags, and content notes tell you whether you’re opening a romance, a thriller, or a tragedy — you don’t discover halfway that it was actually horror all along. That framing isn’t “rigid”; it’s how the audience consents to the experience.
Visual novels and choice-based games go one step further: ambiguity doesn’t just shape meaning, it can directly affect player agency. Once a story lets you make choices with emotional/moral consequences, clarity about the type of experience (e.g., NTR vs Netori/Netorase) becomes part of the artistic responsibility.
In a novel, ambiguity invites reflection. In a game, ambiguity can mislead a player into triggering outcomes they never intended — which breaks immersion rather than enriching it. Especially with sensitive kinks like NTR/Netori/Netorase, players don’t need every plot detail explained, but they do need to know what they’re opting into.
That’s why I don’t see transparency as rigidity; I see it as respect for the medium and the audience. Keep the mystery, tone, and emotional depth — but be upfront about the core dynamic you’re exploring. That way, those who want that experience can dive in fully, and those who don’t can bow out, without anyone feeling deceived.
