I understand that we'll probably never agree on how the scene feels, that's fine, I'm not trying to convince anyone to like it. If I took the time to write about an alternative reading, it's not that I'm trying to impose it as canon, just want to put it out there as an example that different readings are possible and people shouldn't make assumptions on what the author's intent was. Technically, didn't you have the option to avoid it in episode 9? If you never chose to share Cindy, I'm convinced the scene didn't come up. Did the game, at that point, simply check some isSharing variable and go on with that scene? I couldn't say because I don't have 9.0 anymore and I always chose sharing options anyway, but tuffek put it more plainly than I could in the post above: they both loved it, that's what Steve wrote the scene, not that Cindy was cheating. I imagine that he didn't think much of it, just thought people who were comfortable with sharing would enjoy it as a welcome surprise, just like Will does. What he mentioned a few posts back was that the scene taught him a lesson about trying to write scenes with complex variations. And if you couldn't opt out before (maybe that was the case if sharing Cindy, as I said I don't remember and can't verify), now you can - and that's the extent I see that the author pondered on the issue and made adjustments. There's no sneaky intention, no backpedalling, the way I see it.

seems everyone keeps forgetting how Cindy herself stated she wouldn't do anything without Will's say, so that scene was out of character for her, its been fixed to keep with the flow of the story and characters. why he put it in to begin with is unknown maybe the dev was seeing how people would react or maybe he decided he wants another predictable NTR story who really knows.

We're on the same side, there. I hate free pass, even polyamory. When there's a simple license to fuck around, I can't help but feel like the couple's connection is not very strong. What I enjoy the most is a strictly monogamic couple that shares for kicks, where the connection between them is too strong for for there to be any doubts about the other's intentions, and those are never just self-indulgence - the spouse and the perceived effect of jealousy and arousal are always in the back of the mind, even when they're not present. I hate drama and enjoy a perfect happy kinky romance where misunderstandings never happen and nobody ever gets angry.

Not all authors are capable of framing a relationship like that, in a convincing way. I happen to see that kind of dynamic going on between Cindy and Will, but it's fine that you see it differently. Not trying to convince you of anything but of the fact that different readings are equally reasonable, which you deny by saying people can't see what's obvious to you. I think people overreacted to one way of looking at one scene, and it snowballed.

It doesn't matter how some people view the dynamic between Will and Cindy, what matter is people want control over the scenes they want to see.

If one group wants their Cindy to be the hotwife of the century, give them that choice. If one group wants their Cindy to be a good little faithful bunny, give them that choice. If another group wants their Cindy to be super cuckquean and wingwoman Will into all the pussy they see, give them that choice.

That's it.

It's not that deep.

It doesn't matter that some of us don't give a shit who fucks who, what matters is some people do.

Now, I know i'm not the only one that gives zero fucks about what's NTR and what isn't NTR nor who fucks who in any given game. What we give plenty of fucks about is being able to dwell in a thread without going over the same arguments we've seen in hundreds of other threads, if not thousands by now with the years i've been on here.

Correct me if I'm wrong (been a while since played early parts), but there's a choice to go further with the Dorm guy....there's a choice to 'go further' with Eustace....there's a choice (people get the idea lol) that choice was miraculously missing for fucking someone at the gloryhole which happened before the MC got back (the dev just made Will be fine with it).

I'll say again, the fact he backtracked over that says everything. That was all it needed. Sure, choice to have fun...then add another choice (one line of code) as to whether anything else happened.

Which route are you taking or are you exploring them all? I have found that the sharing routes have some additional scenes and animations as compared to the more non shared paths. But good news is that it does look like we are getting more scenes lately. Hopefully that trend continues without hurting Dev timings.

So... I was happy when dev said he would make Wendy sharing optional, but he really only made part of it optional. She still is forced to participate in the glory hole, then you get an option to stop it from going further.

Why??? Its some "half-measure". Why even change it in the first place if you are going to make it fully optional. If this is what you were going change it too, might as well just not changed it at all, cause clearly it feels you only charge about forced nts and you don't care for the netori side.

You know what, it's best to let HappySteveGames follow the characters' arc the way he always planned. Wendy was one of my favorites, but at this point in the game, changing everything will be bizarre. It's better to move on and continue sharing content. I just think that changing her path now won't do any good, things have already moved forward.

Happy is the one who decides in the end. The only thing I'm hoping for now is more Monique Cindy and Eustice.
