#1 Her Desire - I am a solo developer and doing two games at the same time isn't doable.

I'm sorry, I'll be blunt here. But that's a weak excuse. No one expects you to do them at-the-same-time. You wouldn't be the only single dev with more than one game on the design table, if only to prevent burnout.
Hell, I bet if you ask folks, they wouldn't mind you switching between the two. Especially since you stated already having ideas for 2 more seasons for HD.
Which ultimately can only lead to CT ending up in the trash bin. Personally, I wouldn't mind at all if the time between updates for each became longer if you work on both of them in turn.

#3 Monetarization Platforms - This is really the main reason. Have you seen the issues people are having with these services and with these types of games? If not, then understand they have been shutting down pages and CT is prime giving me issues.

Change platform, you've been given a few suggestions already of ones that aren't as strict, like Subscribestar (might want to stay clear from Boosty, heard from another dev they can be shitty with forwarding payments).
Plus, given the direction HD is going it's only a matter of time before you get axed on that not-to-be-named site.

CT needs a re-write and adjustment to make it not "dance the line" so much - and at the moment I don't have the time for it.

No, it doesn't, the only thing it needs is to 'cross the line'. Which would be a natural progression of its current state.

But, in the end it's your call. Even if we may not like the decision.

At this point there have been no new promises. He's currently working on "Her Desire" and sounds like he'll work on that until he either finishes or hits a mental wall, then he might or might not come back to this.

This, though, is why I don't complain about devs that work on two games "at once" (not that I complain about dev time much at all ...)

I was hopeful to continue this game sooner - for now it's on hold.
There are 3 main issues why I haven't worked further on this game.
#1 Her Desire - I am a solo developer and doing two games at the same time isn't doable. HD has the system in place I want, the story is moving along nicely and I really enjoy making it (as you can see from the amount of updates I've had over the 2 years). Your opinion can be that I should work on CT instead of HD, but that leads to point #2

#2 Quality/Development growth - CT was my first game and I didn't know what I was doing with renpy, daz, etc. I messed up a bunch and overall I wasn't happy where it was quality wise, especially after getting "better". That being said, I want to continue the story someday....CT was definitely a big launching pad of knowledge for HD.

Story is good my only problem is I want to choose the routes cause I dont wanna be seeing all the sx scenes of different people I want to specifically choose, but since you are already making HD which is already good I think its fine so far, I just hope you come back to CT and maybe change it up that way if possible.

This might be less work than Her Desire? Would be nice to finish this first. Make it mostly linear maybe. Author is really good with Female Protags lesbian and incest wrapped up in one stories. This is almost as good as Her desire tbh.

He's also making good progress on Her Desire with regular updates compared to other developers. So high hopes for this one getting completed after Her Desire.
