It would break my heart if Lora indeed ended up escorting to get his son a good life...
But I don't think it would tank the game, for me it would be the heartache needed to make the reconciliation work at another level.
Like... if you feel jealous, angry, betrayed... that means the game is achieving an unusual level of depth with its players.
The dev can always chicken out and make her work in the world of "softcore" which was way bigger a decade or two ago than now... it could work.
But for me? If he's indeed lining up for this, go all in and makes us hate her guts, while acknowledging that she did it all for "us".
That combo of hate and guilt should be a source of great scenes.
