Okay, I just hope they give us the option to kill Ren.
I kinda respect her tbh, her plan was kinda sick until she was very stupid and misjudged assface. And in the end shes playing by the rules laid out for her, shes supposed to become powerful and we will get clara back anyway and she will probably way more powerful (aka safe) than before ... and having eda for a while is kinda cool lol

Plus she truly believes she is doing the right thing. Nael is basically a god to everyone except Gabe, Noel, Amy, and the MC. At one point Nael wanted the human race subjugated to the will of Dark Ones and Nael was the only one who was not exactly happy about the pact. Working within the boundaries that has been set on her by the pact, she is searching for a way to please Nael and subjugate the human race. She may be misguided but I can definitely understand her reasoning. It would shock me if the MC erased Ren permanently. She would fit in far too well as a member of the MC's harem to erase her, and this is a harem game after all.

Soo... Elephant in the room. With all this killing people in uniform of police, with russian assault rifles everywhere, and now russian jet bombing american city with virus bombs, it is safe to assume that Claire is actually russian asset and she called to russian ministry of defence? Could she be any worse it this point? Opening warp to elder gods, perhaps? For "da grater good", of course. I did think it was just devs access to 3d models, and undercover blending so far, but after this update i'm not so sure anymore. Message is kinda strong.

Also, if Jacky gets Tessah, i will kek. Hard. But if she gets just kicked out of realm right in cops hands (called by neighbors hearing shotgun shots) is fine too.

Also, all 3 lewd, animated scenes in the container, and kinda completely meaningless for plot. Dude, seriously? Are you trolling coomers, here? I'm fine with it, just checkin. Hilarious.

Also, when Emma stops whining and starts kicking asses, again? I want my hot goth girl starting doing gothic things. Epic, blazing and bloody, preferable. Seriously. Make Emma great again.

But. Overall, I gotta say, i liked update, it is fun, please continue, elaborate further.

The most boring update so far.
The author tried hard to squeeze out tension, but only pointlessly dragged out scenes. The plot could have been advanced much further without this.

It is moving at a decent pace. Some novels fall into the trap of rushing the plot which makes them feel hollow. This one isn't doing that and it is a good thing. After all, if three scenes into chapter twelve the war is wrapped up, Unis is dead, and Ren has been defeated it wouldn't be nearly as satisfying as it would be if it took three or four updates for that to happen.

ngl, chapter was really good til the end, was really hopeful the meddler would get dealt with in a proper fashion, but ofcourse not, has to go all anime on us. Sigh, what a bummer.

I used to like that character, now I just want the MC to kill her, honestly. Too much interference, way too much for a companion that isn't bound and also has been told off by a primordial, idk just felt wrong.

Yeah I don't know. I guess I'll keep playing future updates just because of sunk cost fallacy but this game is really boring power fantasy. It's really lame he can't even animate his own scenes anymore and has to beg developers of other games to do it for him.

It's not that he can't animate them. He clearly said that he is bad at animating (the first chapters' animations were his and you can see the difference). By subletting the animations to other devs, he can focus on the renders and the story.
But I agree that, even of this chapter is one of the longest (render count) so far, the pacing is messed up and the plot could've progressed much more (the CH.10 cliffhanger is still yet to be resolved, the weapon that Noel started to forge in CH.9 is still missing, we still have to meet Amy's family). I hope that in CH.11 the dev will focus on closing the various subplots and move the story forward in a more consistent way.

Plus i actually believe that she would manage this stuff (world government) less bloody than claire lol

Even her whole plan would "only" have had clara as a victim, she didnt even intended to kill claire afterwards, she would have just waited it out.

But her plan would have failed anyway, she intended to keep MC as a lover and would have never been able to fool him long-term thanks to cia.

Well, it was stated by Arsa that Ren is a lesbian, so this seems a way to point out that she won't be in the MC's harem. Also, she went after Clara... I can't see the MC forgiving Ren for this. I certainly won't.

Well, the ultimate defeat for Ren would be to enter in a bond with the MC, and since the MC is a true rulebraker, he could force the bond himself.

Weeell, Ren intended to keep MC as a lover while she would have faked being Clara so i guess its not the no way kind of being a lesbian

I agree that her plan likely would have failed because she would not have fooled the MC. The fact that Ren appears to respect Claire and how much the dark ones try to please Nael were the most surprising parts of this update. It was always highly likely that Clara would pick up the sword because that storyline is just too good not to write. What surprised me though is the fact that Ren didn't want Clara just out of her spite for Claire. Noel said that Ren doesn't really like humans and one would think that Claire getting the best of Ren would be the inspiration for her pursuit of Clara. Also, if the dark ones are just acting to please Nael, one can't help but wonder how much of this is Nael's fault for not being more involved with the dark ones other than just her beloved Noel. Would Ren be doing any of this if Nael spent even a bit of time with the primordiales so Ren would know she has no interest in subjugating the human race?

That is possible. Ren seemed open to being intimate with the MC though when she was explaining her plan at the very end of the update. She hoped to fool the MC into believing she is actually Clara. I find it hard to believe that she could do that without being willing to get intimate with him at some point. Plus, Arsa isn't exactly a pillar of morality so who even knows if you can trust what she says. Maybe she just wants to keep the MC's attention on her. This is a harem game after all and there are a few rules for harem games. Rule one is that you never ever kill a LI because that is pretty much universally hated. The other rule is that if there exists an attractive character, the MC will make her a LI. It is just generally how these types of games work lol.

I think blaming Nael is pointless. And i still suspect everything happening is designed by Nael to a degree and whenever stuff seriously goes wrong, she just reverts time/creates a copy of a former universe.

I dont think this is the first time all of this is playing out. Gabriel mentioned (while he was tortured) how they did come this far this time and it cant be for nothing, this gives me the impression.

And furthermore i think Nael doesnt want to micro manage the dark ones, she probably did that for countless aeons already and it wasnt productive or she is aware that with her ascencion she has to pull back her involvement anyway and so gives the dark ones more leeway to get used to it.

I doubt she would even care if ren would rule the world for some time lol, would that be really worse than claire from nael's perspective?
