I think blaming Nael is pointless. And i still suspect everything happening is designed by Nael to a degree and whenever stuff seriously goes wrong, she just reverts time/creates a copy of a former universe.

I dont think this is the first time all of this is playing out. Gabriel mentioned (while he was tortured) how they did come this far this time and it cant be for nothing, this gives me the impression.

And furthermore i think Nael doesnt want to micro manage the dark ones, she probably did that for countless aeons already and it wasnt productive or she is aware that with her ascencion she has to pull back her involvement anyway and so gives the dark ones more leeway to get used to it.

I doubt she would even care if ren would rule the world for some time lol, would that be really worse than claire from nael's perspective?

Agreed. Nael and Gabe obviously have an outcome in mind. Not only do they have an outcome in mind, when that outcome doesn't happen Nael just resets everything. So, we can assume that whatever the end goal is, it is very important. We can also assume that Christian and Bridget are essential for the outcome to happen. I have long had a theory that the reset at the begining of chapter ten was due to the MC immediately killing christian on the plane and then Nael resetting everything which resulted in the MC giving them a chance. That would indicate that whatever outcome Nael wanted, either Bridget, Christian, or both are essential for it to happen.

Also, what do you think that the dynamic between Nael and Jacky will be? For some reason I can imagine them getting along well. They are going to have a ton of time to bond. Time moves much slower in Nael's relm so Jacky will be spending what will feel like an eternity with Nael.

I think Jacky will be tasked by Nael to go and rescue Gab. Considering she was accepted by portal and was not kicked out immediately. Question is: Will it be Tessah who she bonds with, will Nael make another pearl, or just summon some idle A-tier. And there is still a possibility to Jacky just being kicked out right to the arrival of cops/ another batch of thugs

I think Nael and Jacky could get along simply because Jacky doesnt behave submissive towards her and is therefore maybe at least somewhat entertaining for Nael.

The power will either go to MC, Jacky or Emma has a change of mind and keeps it herself i believe. I dont really understand why Claire didnt took it in the first place and bonded with Tessah tho, Claire could have evaded a lot of messes with that kind of power and tessah even wanted to bond with her.

But maybe Tessah Claire will be an antagonist for a later chapter lol

I suspect gab is already rescued by the time Jacky arrives or other time shenigans like Nael, Gab and Jacky all arrive at the same time. Nael already made her decision to go herself and not even Samuel could stop her, the appearance of jacky wouldnt change anything at this point anymore.

She will maybe send Jacky to get the MC to use amy's regenaration powers on gab if Nael really doesnt have these anymore (i doubt)

Guys, you are forgetting a crucial point: Before Nael was discovered being a Goddess (and not just a Primordial), her and Gab were the "guardians". I suspect Nael's ultimate goal is to make Noel the new First Primordial and convince Sam to make the MC the new guardian.

Please tell me, in chapter 11, in the images after Ren captures Clara, Eda then informs MC that Clara seems to be under Ren's control. But when I finished chapter 11, it was only shown that Clara had fallen under the control of Ren and that was it, the end. Is this some kind of technical error in chapter 11, or did I make an important decision incorrectly?

Guys, you are forgetting a crucial point: Before Nael was discovered being a Goddess (and not just a Primordial), her and Gab were the "guardians". I suspect Nael's ultimate goal is to make Noel the new First Primordial and convince Sam to make the MC the new guardian.

Yeah that was talked about a lot already and is imo kinda obvious. Question is if its just the first step or if them attaining these positions is the endgoal.

I doubt Nael has to convince samuel of anything tbh lol, samuel is working for nael not the other way around if any, he just didnt realized that himself until the end of chapter 10. She values what he does and considers it necessary but she made it obvious that hes not untouchable and could be replaced.

Edit: The fact HOW tremendously samuel underestimated Nael furthermore makes a lot of lore we got during their talks kinda shaky. Nael and Gab played Samuel like a fiddle the whole time.

For example: We dont know if its really true that Nael cant make Gabriel immortal in some way or what their (gab & nael) true goal is. Imo its likely that gab will ascend will nael together unlike samuel thought, i cant imagine Nael surrendering to gabriels lifetime rule lol

Well, the ultimate defeat for Ren would be to enter in a bond with the MC, and since the MC is a true rulebraker, he could force the bond himself.

I agree that her plan likely would have failed because she would not have fooled the MC. The fact that Ren appears to respect Claire and how much the dark ones try to please Nael were the most surprising parts of this update. It was always highly likely that Clara would pick up the sword because that storyline is just too good not to write. What surprised me though is the fact that Ren didn't want Clara just out of her spite for Claire. Noel said that Ren doesn't really like humans and one would think that Claire getting the best of Ren would be the inspiration for her pursuit of Clara. Also, if the dark ones are just acting to please Nael, one can't help but wonder how much of this is Nael's fault for not being more involved with the dark ones other than just her beloved Noel. Would Ren be doing any of this if Nael spent even a bit of time with the primordiales so Ren would know she has no interest in subjugating the human race?



That is possible. Ren seemed open to being intimate with the MC though when she was explaining her plan at the very end of the update. She hoped to fool the MC into believing she is actually Clara. I find it hard to believe that she could do that without being willing to get intimate with him at some point. Plus, Arsa isn't exactly a pillar of morality so who even knows if you can trust what she says. Maybe she just wants to keep the MC's attention on her. This is a harem game after all and there are a few rules for harem games. Rule one is that you never ever kill a LI because that is pretty much universally hated. The other rule is that if there exists an attractive character, the MC will make her a LI. It is just generally how these types of games work lol.

Oh my god, I didn't even realize there was an after credits scene... well, now I want to make Ren suffer for a very long time before her death.

It is moving at a decent pace. Some novels fall into the trap of rushing the plot which makes them feel hollow. This one isn't doing that and it is a good thing. After all, if three scenes into chapter twelve the war is wrapped up, Unis is dead, and Ren has been defeated it wouldn't be nearly as satisfying as it would be if it took three or four updates for that to happen.

The problem is that the plot did not move at all. Nothing happened in this episode except the ending.
Reading the following comments, it seems to me that I may have been misunderstood. I still really like the game and I understand what the author was trying to do. He just didn't succeed.
Perhaps the problem (specifically with me) is that Claire is presented as a mastermind in the game, but she makes exclusively stupid decisions (dictator or not blah-blah-blah, she shoots herself in the foot every second).
And the main character is invincible (which is the main plus of this game) and this does not allow you to doubt the outcome.
My complaint is not that the game is bad, but that the developer TRIED TOO MUCH to create tension and screwed up the plot in the process.

I personally hope it isn't the end goal for the MC and Noel to just be guardians of the Americas. To me, that feels like middle management and it would be a sad outcome for Noel to just end up as a useless cog in the machine. I have to believe the MC is destined for more than just following the marching orders of some second rate hack who thinks he is more powerful than he actually is.

After Claire dropped the bomb early in the ep, I was in the mind she would die and Clara would turn to Ren out of despair. Things did not quite pan out that way.
