I have a feeling that if Gab gets to die someday he would tell to go with the MC

Gab probably already died we just don't know it yet
Yeah It is a shame since he was the funniest but I guess that if Nael tries something Gab will stop her and tell her to go with MC since Nael likes or is starting to be comfortable around the MC (said by the same Noel and even Gab)

If Gab is dead how will he stop Nael? Dead people generally aren't known for conversations. If she gets there and he's not dead, she can heal him, so he won't die.
You can see what happens if Gab dies, check some of the ending choices already in game. Nael goes fucking apeshit and basically destroys the universe.
She loves Gab enough to destroy the world in grief if he's gone. Even if she could be talked down from doing that it'd take time to get over Gabs death, proabably a long time. She wouldn't be hooking up with anyone, not even the MC. Not anytime soon at least.
If this story did go down the path of Gab dying then Nael coming to the MC and it leading to any kind of sexual relationship without a long timeskip it would be such asspull porn logic nonsense. Because it would completely go against everything we know about Nael and how she feels about Gab.
Im not talking about hooking up per se, maybe just be there and I share my opinion with you I doubt that Gab dies, but maybe, just maybe at the verge of death, I hate thet we have to wait for another chapter to come out.

Yeah the stuff about hooking up wasn't really meant specifically in response to your post but I've seen enough others on this board actively wanting Gab dead just so MC can hook up with Nael I figured I'd cover that too while I was on the subject of Gabs possible death.
I just hope this next chapter actually shows what happened after Nael left to rescue Gab. That the newest chapter didn't touch on that plot thread at all really annoyed me.

Nael wouldnt stay with the mc either way as she is not supposed to stay on earth any longer and it seems she agrees with that in general, nael and gab will both really "leave" at some point
believe me that the author can take up something from his ass for the MC to make Nael able to leave her realm, since it seems that the MC is the first one to have 2 primordials and a Companion IIRC
I think Nael is still on her realm? since it is said that Jacky is there being babysitted by Nael but we cant know yet, so yeah either way Nael saved Gab or Gab didnt let her save him (I dont remember if Nael has healing abilities I suppose yes.)

Well interestingly in part one there was a stat variable for MC's relationship with Nael and as far as I can tell it was not carried over to season 2. Now do I think MC's gonna hook up with Nael? I honestly don't see the story going on long enough to get to the point that she would. I do think they'll probably have a sort of partnership and friendship. She's too powerful to become a villain so I don't see them being adversarial, and she seems very tolerant of him for the most part. Maybe if the story goes on long enough.
This is also dependent on Gab actually dying during the current storyline. I do think Nael's had a good amount of character growth and might be willing to not destroy all of creation if he dies this time around, but I still wouldn't be surprised if Gab lives. I think the dev might be a bit too scared of Nael to kill her favourite human, I know I would be.
Let me preface this by saying that I really like Gabe's character. In fact, he is probably my favorite male supproting character in any of the novels I have read. However, to me, this whole story is about the MC ascending and becoming one of, if not the most, powerful being in existance. It is a rags to riches story so to speak. It is really difficult to make any of that happen when Gabe will always overshaddow him. No matter what the MC does, no matter how powerful he grows, no matter how many dark ones he accumulates, he will forever be walking in Gabe's shaddow as long as he is around because of his connection to Nael.
The MC is nothing more than a cheap imitation of his brother, kind of how Noel feels that she is just a cheap imitation of her sister. A prince does not lead a nation before the king is dead. When the king dies, the prince takes up the mantle of leadership. As long as Gabe is out there, the MC will never ever be king. Prehaps there is some way to get around that fact without killing his character off, but if there is, I haven't figured it out.

Well for me it has nothing to do with wanting Nael . I'm fine either way when it comes to her getting her or not. Unless she is going to bring Gab back to life and heal him completely he is already dead with what was done to him
Nael left her realm already (to save gab) but seems to agree in general that she has to leave earth in the long run (and thats probably why shes preparing Noel)
Its easy, he leaves earth (and the story kinda) with Nael close to the end.
But i dont think this story ever was about the mc becoming the mightiest being ever possible, he will get ultra powerful (and he is already) but i doubt he will reach nael's levle in this story if its even at all possible for anyone.
Gab isnt overshadowing the MC anymore anyway since he isnt a companion anymore, hes more like a damsel in distress nowadays and to nice for his own good (unlike mc).
He wont be dead and she will either heal him or explain the mc that he can heal other people (if she gave that part of her powers to amy) and make him heal gab.
We wouldnt have been shown Nael leaving to rescue gab - just for her to fail while being nearly omniscient, in this case she wouldnt have been aware of it in the first place. Imo this will be the first time we see the true terror nael can be.
NGL I could see a plot point if Gab is actually dead that a last wish of him could be that his dying wish for Nael to become a companion with the MC
Having Gabe step away permanently (basically writing him out) would work on the condition that it is made clear that he can never come back. Otherwise, you run into the same issue. I personally believe doing that would be a missed opportunity though. The volume of primal hate that Zero would receive in the event that Gabe dies is enormous. Zero will have been personally responsible for the death of a well liked character. That fact alone makes him a fantastic villain.
Gabe is still overshaddowing, just in a different way. The fact that we have discussed this topic as much as we have is evidence of that fact. Gabe is unbelieveiably important to the progression of the story. If he dies then the entire universe has a possibility of ending. You can't get more important than that. I will put it this way, having Gabe die makes sense to me from a storytelling perspective. It adds alot to the story in my opinion. However, anything is possible and we will just haave to wait and see what happens!
