The only negative were the animations in the early chapters which seem to have been completely resolved in the newer iterations. Damn if I don't love the storyline in this game.

I liked the one with white hair better, but the blonde is the same as her so I'm soft
things like talk witth this girl 1st then the other, Singular option choices, choices than change nothing in your gameplay apart from an immediate slight change in a current convo...
Most of the time, I don't mind them on the contrary they keep the player focused. However when they are 80-90% of the game. That's the thing I hate the most, You can't even attach to the game the kinetic tag bc of the frkin 10% lol.

There's a few choices in here that are "fake" by your definition. Most choices do affect a stat, or call up a scene if appropriate (obvious ones being lewd scenes). I run the game with URM so I can track what is being affected by the choices I make.
That said, this is definitely not a kinetic novel and nowhere near deserving of the tag. Blake and Claire choices should make that obvious.

Nael tells me that I am not on Emma's route. My memory is foggy: was the femdom scene necessary to stay on her route? If so, that would explain why I'm not on it. It would be nice if it were possible to get back on her route without the femdom. Maybe she will have mellowed when she finally wakes up.
Yeah it is, the scene triggers an Emma love variable that is used for most of her interactions after it.

Honestly Claire doesn't deserve to live behind this. I dont hate Claire but what she is doing is literally Paranoid Fueled violence. Power going to her head. Clara is not in danger. She has the high order, Emma, and The MC who is bonded with a primordial as well on Clara's side. She was justified with attacking the legion. But the brotherhood did nothing but attempt peace. Remember that Claire has refused multiple attempts at peace apparently. I just finished chapter 9 and will start 10 now but Claire is not a good person anymore. Even if someone's end goal is pure, the means matter. She is a problem and needs to be put in her place and at least removed form power and punished.
P.S> I am upset that we dont see Clara Apologize to EDA for her words during the heated moment where claire was going to sacrifice herself. She hurt EDA and for EDA to just act like it didnt happen kind of destroys the whole point of it in the first place. I know a dark one serves their companion but they just go back to normal. No depression or anything. No Hinting towards her pain. Clara not feeling those emotions of pain from EDA after the relief came that her mother was saved is not right.

I dont think Clara need to apologize for scene. 1. It is her mother was about, 2. Eda did used her feral status against wish of Clara, against bond directly. 3. Eda is feed on emotions, i assume whole such drama was actually quite a feast for her. She is a Dark one crawed for emotion energy. Eda did act to protect her companion, but i dont see it selfless noble act in this case. Selfish instant impulses all over place, just like Clara's. And Eda lives in Clara. They get each other, well. So, drama come and go, they moved on, as it should be for them.
As for Claire, a still think we will se her becoming Tessah companion. Probably she will be summoned by Nael trough Sam and get to task rescue Gab. And provided by Tessah for this task and as a reward her service. Or she will take refuge in Naels realm and get Tessah, and so on. She will definitely don't die soon. I could easily see Emma soon dies in her struggles, Blake dies in Brotherhood's mess. Amy's mum soon dying in a mess Jacky involved us. Jacky in those mess right now. But not Claire, yet. Claire got too many plot-knots at the moment.
And with her continuous motherly attitude to MC, revelations about brotherhood zeal, and Ren's deal, Claire is quite a solid trickster character. In inner circle of MC. I'm sure she will mass murder more and will live long.
Actually, it is quite refreshing to see big tits mother-like character is not instant bed toy or main LI in AVN. Claire is a gem. I really quite a fond of her now.

Too bad it was laggy for you, I don't know how the author cooked up that last scene, but the quality jump is so insane that I hope future scenes can match it.
Yo im not saying that she doesnt deserve to die.
I just said she doesnt really deserve to die specifically for what happened to gab, it didnt happened because she turned mini hitler, it happened because alberre had a grudge against her for unrelated reasons.
Otherwise shes completly over the top unreasonable but you can/could change her as MC, she already agrees to that if you tell her "were done" but go talk to her again.
MC kinda tells her "I love you like family but im not like gab and will stop you and your order if you keep doing shit i dislike" and shes like "Well i did all of this for klara and your safety, it isnt really worth it for me if i lose you due to it ..."

I can't save the first .rpy file. it just opens in text in my browser, and when i tried saving the page it just saved as a .txt. any way to fix this? .rpyc file worked fine tho. weird

Info: updated my Android port (with the WT Mod) to the fixed Chapter 9 and made a new one for Season 2 / Chapter 10.

Just some impressions after playing ch10.
I don't have S1 around anymore for comparison, but I could swear the renders look better and clearer in S2. Really good quality.
I am always astonished at how much effort goes into the design of characters, especially Dark Ones, that we only see very briefly.
... or maybe I'm just missing cameos, that could also be the case
The music and sound effects are mostly the same I think. The are fitting and it's good to have them, even if having the exact same sound effect for practically all the gory stuff is making that one a bit stale. Not to say that it is bad, but it does play a lot over time
Story moved heaps this update. Having events from different story threads come together and happen side by side really gives an immersive feeling for the world of CoD. I like that.
Excited to see where the stuff with Ren is leading. That is bound to cause some additional conflict. Not that we are lacking that at the moment.
Also thank you Berkili4, for making certain cutscenes unskippable for us clickers. So nice, I wish more devs would do this :3
Second sex scene was absolutely awesome btw. Worth all the effort that went into it.
The fight scene with the two companions at the tower was cool, but the movements felt a bit weightless and abrupt. But that is very normal for animations in HS2 I think. Not sure what could be done to smooth them out or maybe they are just meant to be like this to show how companions move around very freely
Some wild typos to mercilessly eradicate like Nael will certain people
Overall I felt this was a step-up from an already good quality.
