The very first scene (with that old hobo) is already throw logic and any common sense out of the window.
IMHO, it happened way too early in the story that it doesn't make any sense and certainly didn't have any concrete foundation for such action to be justified.

Somehow people still singing praise for the dev like he's Shakespeare writing porn.

Recently, I found some renpy VNs that get insane rating despite being only somewhat decent, wonder how that happened.

I'm always been a fan of old men/hobo (or similar categories) and shota getting the action in a hotwife/cuckold VN.
Indeed if the wife/girlfriend is naughty and perverted, for to please her husband/boyfriend she fucks also these categories and enjoy it.
In general however also if they can be ugly, have still nice cocks, so the wife is pleased and enjoy them (see the old neighbour of TAC or the old pizzaman in TACOS for example).

My problem with that VNs as stated in my previous comment is whether or not the situation is justifiable. And in this case, it's simply not.

Without context, the scene is hot, the render is nicely done, beautiful even. Then you have two kids just moved in a new city and first thing they do is get sexually involved with a hobo? Nah, please come up with better plot than that.

It's an insult to the reader honestly.

Very much seconded, I keep checking it for updates. Everytime I tried swinging experience, I got turned off by the charicatures and the whole bully-winner/beta loser dynamic. It felt more like a netori/netorare choice game.

Part of the problem is netorase/rare/etc games get review bombed by people with too much time on their hands so the people who actually enjoy this kind of content have to give 5 star reviews to try and balance it out. That's basically what happened to my VN "Sharing is Caring", especially since I use Koikatsu Party for the graphics instead of cooler, more realistic stuff like Daz3D.

I assume that you like Koikatsu graphic so you're using it. If that is the case then you should not feel less about using Koikatsu. I and so many others are in that target demographic. Be brave and be proud!

I would honestly prefer to use something like Daz3D, but Koikatsu is much easier to use by comparison and doesn't require as powerful of a machine to render. KK is literally just screenshots and OBS recordings, Daz3D can take hours/days to render still and animated scenes

It is, but 1) rarely enforced because it's pervasive in different forms and 2) the opposite - review inflations are so commonplace (it's VERY rare for 5 star reviews breaking rules to be removed), so the average "level" is probably artifically inflated as a result, meaning "normal 3 star" reviews look bad.

I read game reviews like I read restaurant or product reviews. The score isn't so important as what people are saying, on both sides of the fence, and if it has consistency. If bad reviews are saying a bunch of unrelated stuff, it's probably just debbie downers.

But if all the positive reviews are mentioning the same items "The animations are really good!" or if all the negative reviews do the same "THE UI IS A MESS!" it's probably true.

The game "Loser" apparently has some swinging/sharing stuff according to the dev (some present, some most planned I believe), no stealing or anything like that involved. It's by the Superpowered dev, which does have sharing in it's corruption routes, so might be worth a try for anyone who wants to give it a shot.

I'm same in I dont like incest, still I play this and am eager for updates because based on his prior game love&vice, he does sharing right, the mc's never a beta, but the scenes are still dirty and hot, and there will be other non-family characters in this game.
