Yeah I read about that earlier in the thread like page 35-40. But shouldn't that have been only for the gameplay mechanics? Phoebe still looks the same in the current game.

It wasn't for the gameplay, it was the fact that the cosplays were clearly based on Pokemon. The redesigns are still colour coded by character, but the pokemon design elements are gone. Phoebe isn't based on Pikachu, she's just wearing a yellow rainslicker.
Oooooh. The girls still look good without the Pokemon elements like Carmen and Ivy!

I don't mind, hell I would probably would mind her BEING a romance option since I absolutely adore the friendship she has with MC. Seeing that the dev himself confirmed that she won't be romanced makes me even more hyped for new updates.
Wonder why she won't be. Unless she's a lesbian or not interested in other people like that.

So, if the devs are saying she's pure lesbo... this could only be their post-success attempt at changing a character from it's original design so as to try to reach out to additional audiences(testing the water) than their original, stable and intended audience. (which always ends in a perfect firestorm of crazy that leads to a small group of the new audience pushing for and demanding content and content review positions on the dev team, and the content they push for pushes the original stable donorbase away. and then the game lacks enough funding to continue and the project is sunset and the devs go to their respective lives. then the new audience that was pushing and forcing doxxes the devs, because they felt hurt that the devs told them they had to cancel the project now that it was 'perfect' in the eyes of this new group, they felt it was because the devs had some animus against them and accuse them of sunsetting the game because of discrimination)
moral of the story? you cannot make a game like this for everyone. you cannot make a game for 2 opposing market bases. you cannot gain additional, differently-aligned audiences without losing too much of your initial audience.
thus the golden rule: "know your original intended stable donor audience and stick to it. refuse changes contrary to the wishes of this audience."
too many games have suffered this fate. Don't let it devour this one.

I know this a joke post but just a heads up to the non western people out there, the diversity pushers are just a hyper agressive vocal minority that attacks anyone that isn't pro-diversity, most people don't like it but keep quiet becuase they don't want to get in trouble.
You want an example? The top ten comics combined from either of the big two comic book makers in the US (DC and Marvel) move less units than a mid level shonen jump manga and it's directly becusese US comic are 99% east coast "diversity" propaganda. And Marvel and DC own world famous IP's that have recongnition going back to over 80 years and have full color art.

I know right? The race baiting SJWs are the worst kind of trolls on the internet. If something is "Not diverse enough" for them to play than they just shouldn't play it - End of story. I am so glad that SweetBaby.Inc got exposed for the shakedown that it was. I hope every dev who lost money because of them or was blackmailed into giving them money gets made whole again.
