Alex's first date with Brad is part of Chapter 4. She is clearly indifferent about the idea, but everyone is telling her she needs to give men a chance. Alex doesn't understand her sexuality (yet), and the expectations layered on her being "female" would suggest it's the right thing to do. She'll figure it out.

You only have to click multiple times if you're not willing to wait for the normal transitions to happen. They're supposed to be for dramatic effect, but YMMV.
Absolute garbage of a game.its slow, the characters are bland and the scenes are few and far in between. It looks like the author is self inserting or something
With the exception of that muscle bound a hole that I hope the players can get revenge on later and the situation with brad I like it so far. Just hope nothing is going to be forced later. I think games that start off with the player having control only to later on take it away from them ruins the game and experience.

I guess my little VN didn't meet your expectations. From your handle, though, I think I see the issue--as I've said a million times, it seems, Confusion wasn't written to be a fetish-laden fuckfest to just fap to. Maybe later when the story has actually progressed to the point where more sex makes sense...there are still seven chapters and a year to go. Thanks for your feedback!
Things start picking up in Chapter 4. I'm afraid that the muscle-bound A-hole is still going to present some obstacles, but truth will out. Unfortunately, Alex will have to endure some (increasing) hostility before she figures it all out.
Story hit me hard in the feels. Thanks for this Dev.

I'm liking this so far, it's unique. The chapter seemed short, but I'm guessing that's because of the work put into making it cinematic. Quality over quantity seems to be the name of the game for this one. I do wonder how everything will come together in the next 7 chapters if they're similar in length to this one. So much to do, so little time.
Just means Alex got a bit more assertive. You don't even get the option unless you've done other things, so congrats! (Oh, and it's a Chinese dragon.)

Thanks. The story was completed over a year ago. It was always meant to be a short story. I don't consider it a "novel" but more of a "novella." (So I can still call it a "VN"
). Still, chapter 3 had 1,299 renders between static images and animations. My original estimate was 2,500 for the whole VN. I've been working a lot of hours.There are a couple of things going on here. Each chapter is meant to be a little under an hour if you read each screen. A lot of "longer" VNs that I've seen just use sprites, and judiciously at that. Or they're using low-poly figures and sets. I wanted that cinematic look you mentioned. My rule is to try and keep things to two lines of dialog per screen, sometimes three, even though each new image is a few hours of work on average. The bane of my existence has been the breakfast nook scenes--I should have better thought them out when I was designing the sets. They max out my RTX 3090 and have buttloads of polygons, so they can take between three and four hours each to render.
Another issue is that I originally didn't want to have to go six months between updates. As it stands now, with 8-9 weeks between updates, it'll still take me another year to finish the ten chapters. I don't have 10 Daz artists with cheeks-in-seats cranking out renders; it's just me for the time being. (I am helping out someone else on their VN project, but it doesn't take a lot of my time presently.) Another reason I wanted to finish this in a timely fashion is that I'm eventually planning a Steam release which is where I'm hoping to recoup some of my expenses.
The next project I'm planning is a tongue-in-cheek parody. Short and sweet. After that, I want to tackle a larger story but only if I can make enough from support to justify talking more people into contributing. All I can do for the time being is keep the quality high enough to draw people back every couple of months and exceed their expectations.
I enjoyed this game. It's one of the better ones on here. My main issues with the game is how the villain characters are written.
Ellie, Jordan (Dad) & Kevin.
They all pretty much lack any redeeming qualities at all.
Ellie: She is still angry and calling Alex a pervert over Alex getting a boner 6 years ago accidentally seeing her in the shower. She always misgenders Alex, and calls Alex a pervert. How long is she going to be mad about that? Seriously! It's not like Alex was jerking off or tried to rape her or anything. Then 6 long years pass and there is 0 follow up on that from Alex. Why is she still so angry about this incident? She is bitch in every single scene.
Jordan (Dad): He never supported Alex in the transition. He cheats on his wife, and has not been home for months. He seems like a total asshole. We never get his side of things. We don't know why he is keeping his distance from his family.
Kevin: He is extremely misogynist, and a closeted homosexual. He is a bully and an attempted rapist that also likes to misgender Alex, and even punched Alex in the face. His levels of aggression are through the roof. On top of all that he is a complete moron. In the car with Sam he is talking to her about how he wants to fuck her whole family. Then he is like, "What did I say to piss you off?" Really? He is like a knock off "Biff Tanner" from "Back to the Future" with roid rage and brain damage.
The villains are written way too direct. They lack any sort of nuance or subtlety. They are very one dimensional. They are not relatable enough or sympathetic enough. If just one of or even two of the villains were written very direct like this that would be okay. The problem is... They are all written pretty much the same way.
Psychopaths that do not care about anyone else. Also horny...
Do you know what sort of person would have made the perfect villain in this story?

Ellie stays calm and level headed never losing her temper the entire time without any of the name calling or cursing. She does not attack Alex, but attacks Chris instead calling her an "Enabler".
Instead of that all of the villains are exploding all the time and have almost no fuses at all.

. A "Gender Traditionalist". Someone who does not have any "Hatred" inside of them, but just a different way of seeing the world. They are not a bully or cruel. I don't find Izzy to be at all appealing. I guess if that's what floats Chris's boat, then that's what she digs, but personally, I wouldn't mind one bit if we have seen the last of Izzy. The way that scene went irritated me with so much admiration being directed in a way completely opposite of my tastes, but I guess that's why I'm me and not Chris.

I played this cuz futa/trans games are my weakness but the story is actually pretty interesting. Definitely more of an erotic game than a straight up porn game.
