The Steam version of Confusion is done. I'm just treading water waiting for the whole Collective Shout controversy to die down before I push it to Steam. :)
But is it an altered story version to get past the older/newer Steam censorship rules? Or by "die down" do you mean until things get less restrictive sometime in the future?

In fact, it has a couple of new scenes and added animations, primarily trans on male/female. That and the usual Steam features such as achievements. I've also added a "super secret gallery" that's only unlocked at the end of the game, featuring non-canon images. But the story itself is exactly the same. As far as the story goes, I haven't made any alterations to it. Yet. There are two troublesome things I can think of that might be flagged, but I doubt it as they happen off-camera and are integral to the story. We'll see if they pass. (When things calm down...) :)

There aren't any "points" if that's what you're asking. Alex can act demurely or forcefully (mouse or dragon) and these influence how the story goes and what you can and can't do later on. But there's really no point to tracking those since the object of the story is to respond the way you would if you were the MC. And yes, later in the story, actions can either be angelic or demonic which carry different weight in the latter part of the story.

I've finished the game. The author's character body proportions are drawn beautifully.
I feel like the author wanted to make this a serious-themed game? But the lead-up to each of the sex scenes was a bit perfunctory, with the female characters just suddenly going into heat for no reason.
At the end, the sentence for Kevin was ridiculously short. Let's count, he committed a series of felonies including rape, kidnapping, false imprisonment, psychological abuse, and disseminating obscene materials. Or was the author intentionally satirizing judicial corruption?

Thanks for playing my little story.

Yes, the intent was to tell a serious story. I've always categorized it as "erotic drama" but YMMV. In almost every game here, trans women are treated as no more than token fetishes. Or they're exaggerated into 7-foot tall Amazons with foot long dongs and called "futas" whether they have a vagina or not. There are certainly exceptions, but most...

Trans women are people just like anyone, and they have desires and common sex lives. Just like anyone. I thought it was a little amusing that you commented on "women suddenly going into heat" when most of the complaints I've received were that it took too long for people to start banging each other. And when I was twenty, I thought about sex 1000 times a day. Just sayin'. I guess it's a genre mismatch--you don't go to see a Star Wars movie expecting X-rated sex scenes. Most of the "games" here are just excuses to fap, and story and even visuals quality matters less than the act of just getting off.

I did quite a bit of research for the story, and you'd be amazed what passes for "justice" in the US. DAs will only pursue cases they can absolutely guarantee, and the sentencing Kevin receives is actually at the top end of what is mandated in Ohio, where the story is set. (And where sibling relations are legal, but that's a different topic...) As it turns out, Kevin isn't smart enough to take advantage of the system, so... when I was writing it, I thought it was more poetic that Kevin gets a light sentence but can't get past himself to ever get out. And yeah, his dad was a police bigwig.

No story is ever perfect. I hope you found more good than bad, though, in my little pandemic project. Thanks again.

That was the exact difference in this project that caught my eye.

1000% with you on that.

To be fair, almost all identities non cis-hetero are fetishised here. This is a cesspool of misogyny and homophobia, hiding behind a fake pretense of "Respect the Kink".

Just try and find a game with a trans male that isn't just a target for abuse.

Thank you for having made an effort to bring something real to the table. As an Ally, I salute you and the effort.

Peace :)

I actually really like this game; I can tell a lot of care went into making it. It's not that I think quick sex scenes are bad, but since this is a more serious game, I feel it would be better if the sex scenes were also more grounded in realistic logic. But this is just my personal feeling as a player. I might be a little too picky, my apologies.

Can anyone be kind enough to let me know what values I would need to change in a saveeditor to influence Devil and Angel choices?
I am not sure if this has been answered by others but my thread search did not find any answers and I found the following

The variables depending how you want to do it "save game editor" or in the console if you use "UnRen.bat v1.0.11d"

  • "Angel & Devil values" = a._scores [array]
    • Angel = a._scores['a']
    • Devil = a._scores['d']
  • "View on life" = fEverything [ boolean ]
    • this is required to be "true" some Devil choices such as Zoey giving you a blowjob when she visits to appologise
    • leave it as "false" for the angel path
I hope it helps some of you on your play throughs

AVNSnax ... sorry if you already answered this one, but any plans for a new game any time soon? =)
Thanks for asking. Yes, I have two in development. The first, University Trans-fer, should have its first release somewhere around Nov. 1st. It's about an Iowa farmboy moving to "the big city" to go to school. The second, Forgotten, should be out in Feb. 2026, given my current calendar. It's about a man who was abandoned as a baby and is trying to locate his original family and discover why he's been in foster care his entire life. The first game is entirely trans-centric. The second is more mainstream, but there is at least one skippable trans character in the story.

Come check out my Discord (link in the banner below) where I try to keep everybody up to date on current progress and schedules!
