Yes, TikTok-like videos changed a lots of things.
Many kids I know can't not enjoy movies anymore due to they are longer than an hour ...
And as far as I know, their studies also suck because asking them to focus is just suffering.
The most thing I hate TT is not it makes things " Vertical ";
Is that it makes lots of people I know become " Impatient "
Things changed a lot these days...

flim13 almost got me when he showed a teaser of a vertical orientation for one of his video, but turns out it's actually landscape with clever framing for the story, that was the only time i approve of watching something "vertical"

i heard something like this as well from a relative who works in that sector. ofc it's not just TikTok fault, more like all the reel thing. 30s-tier pills of knowledge are nice and all, but they have a very bad effect on focus span. and so is their attention span, minute-tier.
some of the new phone users (not just kids) don't seem to understand they can rotate the phone to take better pics, btw...
