Can't say I've ever seen anyone around here put up spoiler tags for preview images, but if it'll keep you from complaining sure I can.
Habsrule thinks he's a habsburg and became a pompous snob. it was a reasonable request considering they're leaks and there was absolutely no need to add backhanded comments like this.
No trying to be a snob about it, just commenting how I don't see anyone going into the the other threads and asking people posting previews to always put a spoiler tag on. If you really want I'll just follow the request of the creator and not post them at all, then you won't have to worry about any spoilers

Developers put these previews out to their subscribers all the time, nor do they put spoilers on them. Most developers are careful not to preview anything that would spoil anything they feel important.
I see no reason to spoiler previews here, when the developers themselves don't bother.
These previews are teases to persuade their subscribers to keep subscribing until the next release. Putting them behind spoilers would defeat that purpose. The developers who don't want them posted here are concerned that subscribers pay to see them, and could feel cheated and unsubscribe. But there is still some advertising value to the developers to showing them here. Let your conscience be your guide here.

No, to be honest I've seen some requests to on other games to make posts in spoilers. And even devs put them behind (quick search examples #1, #2). And I don't see how clicking on one button is defeating that purpose.
Just think about other ppl - some don't like to get spoiled - they want to see things when they play it - not beforehand. So especially if it's requested, I think it is legit to put them behind spoilers. (krackersnice's 1! post isnt rly a way to discuss with others though)

They are already behind a paywall spoiler tag -- being a subscriber.

I should have added there is actually one legitimate reason to spoiler preview (or any other) images here on F95, especially since I always use spoilers when I post preview images. That is as a courtesy to those who view F95 on cell phones or have old, potato computers, so that their screen load times are not impacted by large images.

Upload images as attachments and instead of selecting "full image", select "thumbnails" for each image. Not only the images will appear in thumbnail. But also works like a gallery.

- Only one click needed to show all, but then scrolling
- Shortest format (either to not spoil or one searches for something and doesn't need walls to scroll through)
- If pics are added in full size it does not change anything concerning the transferred data but yeah - rendering on the device if rly old might make a difference
- Their whole purpose is simply for content to hide/show that is not in the current game.
- It's even in the rules: "2-6 Do not spam images in a repeated manner. Please use spoilers if attaching several images to a single post." and "2-10 Spoilers are allowed, but it is polite to hide such content - especially when updates are still fresh). May a bit confusing cause 1. is about tags, the 2. on content.
- You need to click on each. It is a personal preference on if one prefers scrolling or clicking through.
- Thumbnails are way smaller, so saves data for mobile connections
- Easier navigation inside one batch of pictures (though here one might ask how many pics will be shown/it would be needed)
- Might still spoil content but it depends on the picture

We're also tweaking the ending a bit as we came up with something we thought was better. All of the animations are done and work on the integration side has begun. The good news is that this is the longest chapter to date. Estimate is around 1000 renders. This one is going to be very story heavy with several new monsters. So we're excited to get this one to you.
