NO specific date yet, but the latest dev report said that they are in the final implementation stage, and for a linear/kinetic AVN, I think it will not take a lot of time. So either next week or the week after.

Well that's unfortunate, hope they get well soon. Can't imagine how frustrating that must be for them to come down sick right as they're preparing for the release of an update.

The Pilgrimage have good animations. I don't know about the plot because i don't pay attention to it.
