litteraly already explained how to get bepinex to run really easily on linux its litteraly a buildin command of wine and proton

steam (proton) as a example View attachment 5042852 and it just works (requires windows version of bepinex to be existing within the games folder, see my quoted post (without the Version variable as im using that one for smt else)

THIS IS FOR LINUX ONLY REQUIRING BEPINEX 5 AND OFC THE GAME

I am aware of the instructions provided and perhaps I should have mentioned them. To clarify with my reply here (prior to this one), running an existing .exe file that is already uncensored is a much lesser hassle than having to figure out how to run patches and whatnot that are not designed for anything outside of Windows.

I also have yet tried your instructions. At this moment, I have a finite amount of time, and while the instructions seem simple, I am a bit of a novice user of Linux and somehow run into poor luck often. I also use Lutris most of the time.

its not even a patch tho........ you are simply making it use a different DLL so it can use the modloader aka bepinex and its really really simple


otherwise someone will have to do a asset based edit

On the one hand I understand your frustration, on the other hand, it's your curse. Most games are just Win, if we add a mod loader to it, it's a Win-Win solution and for Linux you just have to edit it. "Uncensored exe"..that's nice, but someone has to do it and go through a lot of mess to find the material and then the shader that causes censorship. Sometimes developers use very strange names and try to hide it. It's not that easy. Moreover, if an update comes out, it probably won't work and you'll need to edit it again. Those plugins are a much easier solution, although not ideal.
In this case it wasn't such a problem... luckily .

sorry to correct your post but Bepinex works verry well on linux (with windows games) its just some people either dont try or simply refuse to follow bassic instructions

been using linux for years now and have only ever had 2 games where bepinex refused to work, one being Schedule 1

That's why I wrote "edit needed" (my bad, need better words) , but otherwise you're right.

what edit tho? if you mean the launch option windows by default uses pre-suplied DLL's linux rather uses system libraries thus the launch option

I downloaded beplinx for Windows x64, but only the main folder appears and the plugins folder does not show up, so I had to create a plugins folder to place the uncensored file, but even then it doesn't work. I don't understand, this is how I have it set up (I am a Windows 11 user). .

Here is the full save, had to finish it twice because the first time the headless ones bugged and i couldn't interact with them, btw i got very lucky on my first playthrough and beat the game on the level 7 without loosing i think only got caught once or twice. btw way 2 many people are sleeping on this game.

No, that's wrong, No *build x64 blah blah subfolder*
"Where the exe is, place the contents of the BepInEx archive" (i.e. BepInEx folder, winhttp.dll, doorstop etc.) everything where exe is located. Then you run it once, close the game, then put the uncensor plugin in BepInEx/plugins.
However, I managed to decensor the game directly, so here it is:
