I carefully read the story again (Mr. X's first conversation with Clara and Leon) and am inclined to think that Mr. X is Alan's "self-killed" "father".:unsure:
...Mr. X: "And Leon, don't you think I know that you're hiding your sister from some dangerous hangouts after she got into trouble because of her father?"
Leon: "Don't you dare mention her."
Clara: "Does he have a sister? He seems completely shocked by the mention of her"....

So knowing that, committing suicide wouldn't excuse the debt only make it transfer to another. Sounds more like an excuse to tell the son of why daddy killed himself. Maybe he found his "loving and faithful" wife fucked the person destroying him and it pushed him to suicide, that would make mommy the person responsible in that case. Think mommy is going to tell Alan I caused your dad to kill himself by cheating on him? Dad lost everything but had his family still, he finds out about mom's cheating and maybe Alan isn't his child, that would push someone to commit suicide after having everything else taken away from them since he has nothing left but betrayal from the person he loved. That's complete destruction of someone's life. Trying to prevent bankruptcy isn't a reason for suicide as you'd still have your family and can start over.

Grace can play out many ways, she can be trying to "redeem" herself by getting revenge for her husbands death on the person who destroyed him or she sees the same thing happening to Alan and is trying to prevent that, possibly both once she learns everything that has happened. She feels guilty that she was the cause of his father's suicide and is now trying to prevent the same fate for Alan, not yet knowing Clara has already fucked Leon, putting Clara in the same position she was in with the father. Will she push him to forgive the cheating wife or help him get revenge? Personally I'd vote for revenge but the way so many other choices and things happen in this story it's more likely she will convince Alan to be Clara's cuck/simp and forgive her.

Listen, buddy, you want to literally take apart a very dangerous topic for discussion! The topic is dangerous primarily for Grace and Alan! It is quite possible that Alan was unaware of Grace and Benjamin's love affair! This character trait has apparently been preserved in Alan to this day and now he also does not notice the change in Clara! Grace and Benjamin kept a secret and were silent for 10 years, and now something has happened! When did Leon find out the secret? And why did Leon tell Grace about this along with intimate photos of Clara? Trying to guess the true reasons and further actions of the characters is useless... It's premature and dangerous! For example, I can tell you a terrible story from the life of aristocrats. Acting characters: older brother Tom is married to Betty, Sarah is Betty's sister, a young guy Pete is married to the beautiful Natalia and finally Chris is a nasty middle-aged man! All these characters work for the same company. And such a piquant moment, Tom is in love with Natalia, but apart from polite signs of attention, he does nothing!Today they gathered to remember Tom's recently deceased younger brother named Mark! It was officially believed that Mark committed suicide because of the threat of accusations of stealing money from the company! (a similar reason for suicide, isn't it!) Tom suddenly decided to find out who had last seen Mark! And suddenly Tom managed to solve the crime ! It turned out that the perfect Mark was drinking and smoking marijuana! Sarah came to Mark to talk about life, and Mark tore off her dress! Sarah got Mark's gun under her arm and Sarah killed mad Mark! The investigation admitted suicide. The beautiful Natalia became Chris's mistress out of boredom! But it was the scoundrel Chris who stole that money to buy jewelry for Natalia as a sign of gratitude! The impressionable Tom, having learned the cruel truth about the perfect Mark, the beautiful Natalia and Sarah who killed Mark, went into the back room and shot himself! That's the price of truth! Therefore, it is better to wait for the next update and then perhaps there will be fewer secrets...;)

Possible but Leon would also be pissed off if his dad mentioned his sister since he's the reason she is in hiding/trouble. Then you have to ask why X would be trying to destroy his son's marriage especially after what he went through with his own, unless he was trying to "test" Clara's faithfulness to Alan in which case she failed miserably already.

Damn it! Alan is a worthy product of his time! Alan knows a lot about programming and spends too much time talking to soulless computers! Alan has lost the ability to feel the emotions of a living person! Alan hears just words, but does not perceive intonation, and this is an important indicator of a person's mood!:cautious:

Honestly you need to spend more time with reality and less time with the made up stories you read/watch. IF he was shot by another the investigation wouldn't show suicide unless she is a professional who can plant/hide things like GSR, powder burns and the other things like her ripped up clothing and things at the scene. Just because in the stories the investigators/characters are stupid and incompetent doesn't mean they are in reality. Most have to actually earn the title good or elite not just be given it to suit a storyline when they are incompetent and nothing like what is said.

If you read the SS someone posted of Grace, she obviously has her own agenda coming into the story, where it leads you have to wait and find out. Don't be upset if my opinion of what may happen is there, it's not a spoiler but something that may be correct.

well, if Alan is not "native" (is a good reason not to be at home often and for a long time). Why worry about someone else's child's feelings?

True but again either idea can be possible, without sufficient information neither can be discarded. The dev seems to be waiting to the end or very near to reveal most of the interesting history. Supposedly Clara has some past trauma, that is supposed to explain and I'm guessing make Alan forgive her for cheating on him with his enemy. Not sure what could ever do that to be honest but seeing how the story goes and the devs ideas on certain topics, it will probably be completely stupid and only someone without respect for themself, would accept and forgive.
