after looking at some of the scenes i'm seeing what you mean about the fights and the characters being over the dialog box. this really needs fixed along with reducing the size of the boxes

When you say kidnapping, are you talking about the main character being kidnapped? If so, I was way past that part. If you're talking about another kidnapping - I'd rather not get spoiled but good to know.
I pretty much remember 4 instances of Shatter and no others:

3.the goons duo
4.prostitute while exploring town
Last things I remember doing before taking a long break are buying all properties, doing quests at nexus worlds, having kids and meeting the bratty daughter of the organisation person.

If i recall when you buy the school the three women in charge of the Parents Union can be Shattered as well.
i was referring to when the MC got kidnapped at the beginning. as for as the others it happens later (hint: nexus and at another location). no spoilers but a hint to where to look ;D
Beltian is an update required for v0.22.0a or is it fine 'cause it's mostly just bugfixes and a character model update?

Depends on how long "a long time" is. There's no new content for her in Act 3 as yet.
Great, there's a new bug where im not allowed to even go out of the house even if i talk to jessica multiple times on the new update.
I have been playing this game for around 2 years now, popping by every now and then to check out the newest update and it hasn't dipped in quality at all which I appreciate a lot. There are too many games like this that decrease in quality when development continues for an extended period of time and thankfully Corrupted Kingdoms hasn't tripped into this pitfall. I want to express my thanks on continuing to make a great game and I'm excited to see what comes next. (This sounds too corny but it's how I feel)
while I really enjoy CK, and it remains one of my favourites, it is also a shining example of a glaring, reoccurring problem with some projects. when a game gets this massive, changing core components (the new time slot in this case, as well as the Hidden Voices rework) can break a shit ton of stuff. while the rework to Hidden Voices in particular is nice, scenes are still buggy and the timeslot and clock addition just seems like an entirely unneeded complexity to add in so late. having the mansion feel less empty could have been done in a way the was less intrusive.( a side quest that enabled the wive set to roam more, since they are mostly in their bedrooms all day, or the recovery of some of the many M.I.A. characters, such as literally any of the school cast would have been much less intrusive as an example.) I can't imagine it's easy to rework an entire game time system to add an extra slot.
at the end of the day CK is still fantastic and my main reason even mentioning this is so that future devs approach changes like this with caution in their own projects.
if you need to do large scale reworks, several years into development is a bit late in the game, and can cause a domino effect. the bug logs of this game are a good reflection to that.
while it seems to be in hand here as the bugs to Hidden Voices seem to be wrapping up, it does provide ample learning as to how rough it can be making a change to a core aspect late in development
on a semi related note....if you, like myself are entirely to horny to wait for the Lamia to be fixed, Universal Renpy Mod should still have the ability to proc the scene by bypassing it's trigger.

Woah. Just updated from .19 to .20a, and WOAH. Blinding white extra-large UI that completely covers the screen? Not a design decision I can understand.

Will have to agree with some other commenters on here about the UI. It does not seem to scale properly with the game window. Settings for if the game is in a window or fullscreen are irrelevant as the issue is present on both settings.
As an example, at the very beginning of the game, when you first use Control on Pixie: Not all of the options are displayed. I vividly remember an option to "Kiss Her" being present but it is not there, but I think I know what happened. "Touch Her", the second option in that menu is going off screen upwards, meaning the top part of the button is cut off. This leads me to the conclusion that "Kiss Her" is simply pushed off screen and as a result is not able to be selected.
Unfortunately, this means that player choice has been degraded in the latest update.
It could be that this is an unintended side-effect of switching to a different UI style and will simply need to be adjusted with a hotfix. I hope that this is the case or that players are given the ability to switch back to the old menu art style if they want to.
However, I do agree with the others: Drastic departures from established art style, UI style or other major factors should have some level of player input.
At this time, I will wait until I play again.
