Yea, I came back after a while and the nice UI got replaced by a WTFUI
everything is exploded, many buttons are missing. nice convenient icons got nested into a submenu (barf) as text.
huge downgrade to the UX.

Also the 3 top right buttons for the UI keeps on disappearing and it is difficult to make it appear at all. I THINK it was meant to remain permanently hidden in act3, for some reason?

I don't mind the UI, though the original is much cleaner and simpler, it is just too damn big when I visited the game after the update, let's hope they revert back or at least attempt to fix this one

This is a quick little update solely to fix all the bugs that have been reported over the last few weeks while I've been indisposed. Some game-breaking, some merely annoying or weird, all have been fixed and this should (I hope) solve every single issue that people have been having.

All these bugfixes will be present in the upcoming 0.22.1 update, so if you don't mind waiting then you don't have to download this update. To everyone else: I'm sorry for the inconvenience and I hope this fixes the problems you've been having!

CHANGELOG:
  • LUCILLE: Lucille has been updated to the new character model system! She now has fully animated eyes and lips!
  • CODE: Tweaked the Hidden Voices code slightly to make it nicer, and to allow me to quickly update the older code. Lamia Hidden Voice restored soon!
  • Bug: Text that floats in the centre of the screen will no longer have a quick menu attached to it
  • Bug: Choice menu overflow when talking to Asteria has been fixed!
  • Bug: Choice menu overflow when in your flat been fixed!
  • Bug: Sub-navigation menu now appears correctly in the Act Two Living Room!
  • Bug: Emma will no longer be in the garden training until you've spoken to her about it. She's so eager!
  • Bug: Players could get stuck in a loop in Act One by clicking the time skip button on the map screen. This button has been disabled until Act Two to prevent issues.
  • Bug: Error with ("sad" image not found) has been fixed. Jessica was just too sad!
  • Bug: Multiple mentions of Annie removed from Act Three conversations if you were a monster and didn't get her to Love 3 before hitting Act Three. Shame on you.
  • Bug: Removed MC's knowledge that the Flying Bar is effective against Eldritch if Lily has already left town
  • Bug: MC will no longer be confused about what time it is when Gwen bursts into his room with a knife. You heard me
  • Bug: You can no longer call Madison to watch while you're having fun with Veronica if Madison is heavily pregnant. The stress isn't good for the baby! It was disappearing!
  • Bug: Typos and grammatical errors fixed

this ui is killing me i cant even progress act one CUZ I CANT EXPLORE. I FINALLY DECIDE TO GET BACK IN THIS GAME AND LOCKED OUT BECAUSE I CANT DO SHIT

  1. Top link on the post leads to Itch.io with a "Download Now" button.
  2. Second link takes you to SubscribeStar with a post that has a "DOWNLOAD BELOW" selection.
  3. Report the post I made as a "Game Update" and wait for the mods to update the thread.
Any of the above will work.

So...I played a bunch a year ago but I took a break.
I really liked the idea of Shatter but it ended up only being used twice or thrice. I can't remember on which act I stopped but it was act 2 at best.

So, my question is - are there more Shatter options further ahead? (Specifically ones involving H-scenes)

yes there's more times you have the option to either use shatter or awaken, i think maybe 3-4 times after the kidnapping section, not 100% sure on the numbers

after looking at some of the scenes i'm seeing what you mean about the fights and the characters being over the dialog box. this really needs fixed along with reducing the size of the boxes

When you say kidnapping, are you talking about the main character being kidnapped? If so, I was way past that part. If you're talking about another kidnapping - I'd rather not get spoiled but good to know.

I pretty much remember 4 instances of Shatter and no others:

1.Chloe
2.female scientist soon after
3.the goons duo
4.prostitute while exploring town

Last things I remember doing before taking a long break are buying all properties, doing quests at nexus worlds, having kids and meeting the bratty daughter of the organisation person.

If i recall when you buy the school the three women in charge of the Parents Union can be Shattered as well.
