when the dev started making changes to make the game a weird combat hybrid, people defended him.
when the dev focus went to an epic war story instead of MC fucking anyone he can, people defended him.
when a couple of sexually starved people argued he should leave Patreon and make the children fuckable, people defened him.
when the dev started using copy paste with sex animations with different model characters, people defended him.

all he had to do was what every dev needs to do yet most of them refuse because they think they know better, and then they start losing money and stop updating the game because they just don't care anymore.

focus less on plot, focus more on sexual content, the more fucked up it is, the better. if most games don't have ntr, gangbangs and incest, then that's what you're supposed to do. if the site you're using doesn't allow incest or whatever then release a side patch on another website and just let the people share it, word will get around and you will still get paid. or just keep doing whatever it is your doing, and keep losing money. it's your game, you know best daddy.

Im pretty sure the children in the game arent sexualized in any way, nor were there any plans for this im pretty sure.

Only reason for his weekly updates was ERROR CORRECTION. Every update was at max 1-2 min gametime rest was ERROR CORRECTION. Every new update made more failures and glitches, which he could make ERROR CORRECTION for in next update, and as a result of that people payed him a lot of money, for what........

Well..... we all wait for his next move, which should be a major update. When, you ask, only dev know or not.....
If you look back 2-4 pages you will see some discussions about next update, we hope for the best, as he is using a lot of time on the update, but we fear it somehow will break the game or old saves will be useless because of all the changes.
But we are optimists, and we will prevail, conquer and in the end adapt to what the future will bring. oops wrong movie

you know it be extra amusing if star and patron as platforms started canceling subs for clearly inactive pledges (like mfs who legit don't log in they accounts) just to see just how many people actually willing huffing the cope of sham devs like this.

Honestly for me now days if i don't see any real updates for three months and no real good reason to why i flat out don't even pay and refuse to do so again to i see consistent updates again. Really wished more people started doing that and less of this would happen but i am very sure this mostly happened because arc was coasting on the porn game boom back then.

It's a real shame because I was actually a backer of Arc's on Patreon and Subscribestar for a long time. This game felt like something pretty unique compared to the other stuff I had seen and I was impressed with the frequent updates. But it's been about 10 months since the last build released. And in that time it's been pretty much silent. He stopped updating the patron/subscriber updates channel on his discord a while before I stopped subscribing to his Patreon/Subscribestar. Which was a big red flag because it seems like you would at least want to keep your subscribers informed of what was going on.

Another red flag was that Arc began releasing these updates for things that absolutely didn't need updating in my opinion. New text, new sounds, animated clock, etc. These are things to maybe release after we get actual content. Instead, that was the content mainly being released. And those UI changes and extras created more and more bugs that needed fixing. Which meant the next update was now mostly bug fixes. And that loop continued. It got pretty old quickly for me, honestly.

And I think the big one for me was adding the whole combat minigame. If I recall he changed it majorly about three times and it genuinely just wasted time. As in you would play an update with new story content based around the conquest mechanic, then Arc scraps that mechanic for another one, and now you have to reconquer all those areas again. It was honestly a waste of dev time and the payoff was not worth it for me. Maybe there are people out there who really like Ren'Py combat but I don't think that barebones combat mechanics in essentially a visual novel should take precedence.

Acts 1&2 were really good I think and he could have basically stopped there. Act 3 could be the "Corrupted Kingdoms 2" he is for some reason already planning. But Arc is probably smart enough to know if he completes Corrupted Kingdoms he'll lose a lot of that subscriber money, even if he immediately states he's working on the sequel. I hate being such a pessimist with this stuff but I feel like it's hard to argue that he isn't just padding things out. His banning from Patreon was a big scare because suddenly his income was cut off and now he is milking this as long as he can it seems. It feels as though he was nearing the end of the game development, panicked because he realized the money would dry up, and now if basically remaking the whole game to stay on payroll. A very disappointing end for the game in my eyes.

TL;DR: Game started out great, it hasn't been updated for 10 months as of writing this, the dev still makes almost $67,000 a year to promise us he's still working hard on it

I personally wouldn't care if this game got abandoned. I really enjoyed acts 1 and 2. IMO the game has not been good since start of act 3. I have lost all faith in this dev. So even if this big update does release I don't think it will turn things around. If it does get released and turns things around then great.

I still don't know, how Arc not noticed how bad the combat minigame is.... therefore it must be intentional, because a Player can't even save before any random variable like most Ren'Py Games

Don't get me wrong, I don't blame anyone for talking about it nor have the right to tell you what to say or do, but come on....

I have played the game from the beginning , 4-5-6 years (too old to remember). Act 1 and 2 was good - you fulfilled a lot of quests and got all the kids, with some of them you could go to the fair (kane and kid), take a bikeride (pixie and kid), go shopping in car and so on. Then suddently with Act 3 - the bucket was turned upside down, fighting and batteling, graphic was changed and a lot of stupid changes to userinterface. And the only thing dev have done the last 1-2 year are "damage controle" - correcting all the failures, errors and glitches he had made. And now he have announced there will come a major change of UI, engine and a lot of other things.
Long time players like me, without sounding like a conspiracy theorists, but it seems like the first DEV have sold the game and name, and thats why there was so radically changes in the start of Act 3, where all your efford in the predecessing 2 acts was thrown down the drain and you lost all connections to the fine ladies, the kids and the overall favorite caracter of the game, LITTLE WINGS (aka pixie). With that childish and fearsome little bug on the shoulder, NOTHING can go wrong. Sometime i see my own daughter, when she was 3-4-5-6 years in pixie, tiger in thoughts, but chicken in action
Its nearly a year since last update and as it looks like now, i only see dev trying to get as much money out of it before the yellow "abandoned" sign will mark the game, and people find out he drag them around by their nose.
But as born optimist, i hope for the major update but fear it just will be a follow up in correction the error and failures for the next year or two, without any game progres, just like the last 2 years

I think that you might be right on that. I really liked where the game was going in the first and second acts, and then the switch to the third was just jarring, and the entire thing changed in a way that I found totally negative.
