Okay, so I got to day 45 and used Imago Quickening because I can't benefit much from going the last two days, but the problem I am running into now is that no matter what I do, I only am able to get two of the chosen to become forsaken, then the third offs themselves.
I have tried starting with all three of them for the final battle, but it doesn't seem like I am capable of popping any of them fast enough to get all three before the extermination ends, which might be because the relationships are fucked in a way that I just don't have the ability to do enough work before the others show up.

I included my save, but unless I'm missing something, I'm guessing I'm screwed for getting all three unless I start the loop over...again.
Unless all three have some sort of use to you, then just take the two and let the other die. If the third is just going to sit around not doing anything then is there actually any value in trying to get them? Sure you could sacrifice them for the extra initial EE achievement, but you're going to be sacrificing some of your early Forsaken anyways once you start getting more non-base Chosen. But yeah, looking at the save I've been unable to figure out how to turn all three, so if you really want all three then you'll probably have to restart.

Here's what you need to do :
-Negotiate for 2 days and get completion and enormity
-Make a Completion commander with force orgasm defiler + Hate and expo damage, with max surround and captures
- Target Whisper and keep using barrier
- Start Appealing when Tyrant comes till resolve broken
- Now need to use taunt on whisper (make sure Purity is captured when she arrives )
- Taunt till resolve broken, then use threaten on Purity till resolve broken

Ok, first thing - Tyrant's not exactly in what I'd consider a good position for the final day - I'd prefer to get the appeal bonus damage up a bit more before diving in,.
I also don't like that Purity doesn't have a distortion, and 120 resolve is quite the hurdle to overcome.

I did manage to get everyone, but it was a near thing. Would have been a lot easier if Tyrant was appealed a bit more, -20% would have saved one turn.
Commander: max duration, +3 capture, ambush on, Hunger, Spite, Hypnosis.
Target tyrant, use appeal till purity joins (Round 6, 20% resolve), capture purity, keep appealing tyrant till they capitulate (Round 9). Taunt Whisper twice (Round 11, 40% resolve), Surround Whisper ( Caress, Purity used detonate), Round 12, slime Purity till capitulation. Round 16 - Whisper is free, Tyrant and Purity resolve Broken, Commander still has a capture left, capture Whisper. Round 21, Whisper uses Detonate, and has
FEAR: 1.32T [Lv 11] x16.3k(HATE) x16.3k(PLEA) = x268M Total
DISG: 7.62T [Lv 11] x128(HATE) x2.09M(PLEA) = x268M Total
TICK: 1.00T [Lv 11] x128(HATE) x16.3k(PLEA) x32(ANTI) = x67.1M Total
SHAM: 442G [Lv 10] x128(HATE) x16.3k(PLEA) x32(own EXPO) = x67.1M Total
So Slime for -44% resolve, wining the battle on round 22

I haven't gone through all the previous logs, but just some advice. Make sure you have Tomorrow's newspaper as your starting item, it helps by a ridiculous amount. Like I genuinely believed the game might have slightly gotten balanced around it. Its totally winnable without it, but if you want a smoother time you should definitely use it. This one is a general advice for new players doing campaign.

Btw I read your review and about the two bugs you mentioned, I don't think they are bugs.
1. The surround levels probably dropped because the pain(Tick) value wasn't increased. It has a mechanic where you can't get surrounds again without increasing its level.
Eg: Let's say you get a 7 turn surround with level 2 pain(tick), if you don't increase the value to level 3 or higher in that surround you won't get any openings from pain(tick) next time. So sometimes you may have to attack/tickle after the chosen gets out to get the openings. Just look at the trauma values shown in the right of the screen near the portraits, it needs to be purple for openings.

2. Chances are that the chosen used the t3 innocence break move which decreases trauma damage for that battle.

So I know it's neither of those things as I always check the history of the turns and there's no action made by any of the characters to affect damage to that degree and it literally goes from having like, 7/5 surround turns, to dropping down to 4/5 surround turns as soon as the next turn starts with that character no longer surrounded, and this is with the other two chosen surrounded the whole time as well.
If I could predict when these bugs happen, I would love to take screenshots or something, but it happens very randomly and there's no traceback or history for the surround levels on the chosen.
It's actually screwed me over in a few battles where I suddenly can't do the plan that I had in mind the entire time that the character had been surrounded, resulting in the battles ending early because I just suddenly can't make up the ground that disappeared, and then when I retry the whole battle, it doesn't happen again (although I usually don't retry the battles at that point because it's usually at the end of a loop that these problems seem to pop up) to the same character even if I do everything exactly the same.
I can only imagine that there's some number I keep reaching in the code or something that's just causing the values to invert or something, kinda like how you can crash skyrim by enchanting an item with too high of a percentage number.

So I tried to break thee game and I think I succeeded, I am not entirely sure how though...

I started a new game and played until the first angle fight after victory.
I sent everyone accept the angle into retirement
I continued to the next city, and captured 3 chosen
I can only train one of those three. the other two lack the plan and retire menus

save attached

This worked flawlessly, thank you as always for your expert advice, without people like you, I would have to use cheat mode like a scrub to even get past the second loop XD

Just to clarify something - do these bugs occur later in the campaign? Because advanced chosen species have some interesting abilities. For instance, most advanced chosen will take less trauma damage. So if you are expecting a superior chosen to take the same amount of damage as a regular chosen, it's not a bug when they take less damage than you expected.

Likewise, Angel chosen unlock the "Twisted Reward" PLEA ability instead of "Fantasize", which reduces the TRAMA of escaping allies. If that ability activates, due to the Angel being surrounded, then that could explain why you see a predicted 7/5 surrounds, that gets reduced to 4/5 surrounds.

This is happening late in loops, but it's happening as early as the very first loop (I only just finished loop 3 for the first time with a lot of help) against regular chosen, so it's not any kind of special ability or action taken by any of the chosen.

One question, is the chosen in question detonating at the time? Because the number of rounds before a chose detonates is decreased when pain level I crease. This can change the number of rounds a surround lasts.....

This is in relation to upcoming surround levels, not current surround duration, but also no, this is typically near the end of a battle after the commander has been all used up, so detonation doesn't apply.

Alright, Loop 4 has gotten going, just got the third chosen to appear on day 8 (one of my custom made chosen too), but now I am mildly nervous because I decided to go for a loop that has 2 superior chosen (Moppet and Champion) and I was struggling with just the one on the previous loop (granted, I was fumbling a lot, especially without having any distortions on the previous superior chosen).

So I figure I should jump to the part where I ask the far more competent players for advice, especially since I REALLY want my custom chosen (Champion) as a forsaken because they're kinda badass, but I don't know what I should go for on them really.
I'll include my save file of course.

I haven't caught up with this game in a long while; is there a recent guide on how to play?

I made it through a vanilla campaign a long while ago, but getting back to the game I am a bit overwhelmed by the options. I'd need a refresher on overall strategy and things that are easily overlooked but important.

If you look past 20 threads there is a lot of discussion about it. the previous two thread before this 237 also has some to discuss about it (link to early game guide). I recommend you grab tomorrow's newspaper as your item also.

There's a bug I've encountered with the loop skipping in campaign mode. When it's time to pick the next city, there's the abandoned place option. But when I pick it, the game bricks. I use task manager to close the game, because closing the window normally does not work. Then I reopen the game and nothing works anymore.

The first time I found this bug, I was able to reopen the game and load my save, but then I made the stupid decision to just try going to the abandoned place again and the same thing happened. But then when I reopened my game, it was a black screen with no buttons. That was r50 and r51 had just came out, so I just downloaded r51 and started over from scratch.

Now on r51 I encountered the bug again, on a different skip (first time was 3-5, this time was 1-3), and I wasn't even able to reload my save. The start screen fully loaded, the buttons were there, but clicking them did nothing.

Please tell me if there's a way to skip loops in campaign mode without this game-breaking bug. Until then, I'll just not skip loops anymore, or use cheat mode to sort of skip them.

Or if the abandoned place thing isn't how the loop skipping works, please tell me what they are and how to actually skip loops.

If you still have the save file, could you please upload? Having saves where the issue occurs helps to track down the actual cause of the issue.
