well yeah i was more or less guessing (didn't i say so?) along the line; JoiPlay exactly for being an emulator more or less, has to a degree rely on what the OS gives it; file/memory/etc. access is all through OS.. This Is Not A File was actually quoted from a buddy who knows better than me; stands for the filthy habit of OS creators, among others, to have their OS have a say of any request from anything for anything is valid or not, and they can, and do, circulate lists of lessay "unwanteds" which can, in theory, lead to JoiPlay not finding this or that version of this or that file. thought it could be that never undruids don't handle the requests on old versions the exact same way, not too keen on that.
on the version numbers, guess i got mixed up by several games around having had some version up's of Ren'Py since last summer or so.

Oh ! Well, it seem that they changed the way they handle the environment, interesting news.

Side note:
When I said "unsolvable", I was obviously talking from my own side.
The error at this time was that Ren'Py wasn't able to find the different Python files on which the mod rely ; and it happened to anyone who tried, so it wasn't just an installation error. For whatever reason, JoiPlay was hiding, or not recognizing those files, and obviously there's not much that I could have done to change that.

I'm excited to see that joiplay works now. Joiplay had a major update about a year ago didn't realize it was this extensive as to fix this issue too. Cool, sorta, though I still prefer the old joiplay because of various other UX niceties the older version has oh well.

Well, the thread opening say that it works from the version 0.40ish to the version 1.0. So, yes, it's playable with the latest version.

Oh... On the game thread the version is named "final". I'll update the thread opening to be more explicit.

That's right, the developer didn't finish some things in the game, including the gallery.
As you can see he got tired of this game and decided to focus on a new project. However, he wrote that he will try to complete the unfinished features in Corruption.

Yes it does but sometimes u have to be very specific when it comes to changing the corruption levels and realease the slaves also u cant access certain events but other than that it works amazingly

Was thinking the same, but I'm not surprised.
Mr.C clearly seemed to have enough of the game after near to 5 years ; he let expect for content once the girls was enslaved (dates and all), that he finally never added.

This mean that I'll need a bit more time before I update the mod. Now that it's the final version, I can finally fix the casino.
Technically I could have had since a long time, but it imply that I copy/past all the original code, then correct all the condition. Ensuring each time that this part haven't changed was a bit more works that I was ready to do. But well, now at most there's a final fix, so...

Later, in probably one month, I'll also provide a final version of the mod. In between I'll see if I can do something with the club. A long time that I want, but never really know what to do there. Especially since, not knowing what Mr.C wanted to possibly add, I was limited in my possibilities.
If anyone have ideas for some addition, it's the moment to say it.

Is this still going to happen? I've been holding off playing the final version of the game until you finish your mod, if that is happening. Been playing using your mod for probably two years now. Thanks for the work that you put in!

It will happen. I just forgot what time of the year we will. Between my birthday, co-vorkers holidays that give a bit more works for those who are still here, and the heat, I had less time to works on the mod that I expected.

But I'm working on it. I'll not give a date, because I can't tell beforehand how many time I'll be too tired, either by my job or the heat, to works seriously on it, but it will be before September for sure.

This said, you can start play right now. The only real difference between the reworked version and the actual will be:

• The use of the new version of my in-game menu ;
• A more optimized code ;
• A not anymore bugged Casino ;
• Still not sure if I'll do something with the Club or not.

Only the last two points will have an effective effect on your game play. Yet it's the casino is a pure stand alone part, and the club need that you enslave the girl, while being at the side of the story.

To de-stress and relax my mind, I decided to watch Ghost in the Shell Stand Alone Complex for the umpteenth time... just to discover that they started a new series. What make me decide to finally watch all the saga. And well, who would have know that three series (for a total of five seasons) and seven movies (I don't count 2.0 and the two Stand Alone Complex movies), would let me with so few times to do something else ?

But, as I said, I'm working on it, just not as seriously as I was when Mr.C was still updating the game.

No sorry We had a big contract at works and it let me with not much free time, until the end of the month. I had to pause the rewriting.

But, you can, really. The only real difference that the final version of the mod will have is that I'll fix the casino, but the casino is not part of the story, you can finish the story at 100% without playing it, just keep a save near the end to finally see the casino scenes later.

The rewrite is more cosmetic than anything else.

ModuleNotFoundError: No module named 'AONmod'

Either you haven't correctly installed the mod, you should extract the whole content of the "game" folder, including the "AON-packages" one, or you're trying to play in JoyPlay, and there it works for some, and don't for others.

When the mod is released as zip archive, and you've to extract the content of the archive before you can use it. Extracting it into the game directory in such way that if your game is in "/my adult games/thisGame", at the end, the "AONmod.rpy", "AON.rpa", "AONutils.rpy" files, and "AON-packages" folder, must be in the "/my adult games/thisGame/game/" folder.

The problem is that you read, but don't try to understand what you're reading.

As said in the "installation" part of the thread opening, and as I said to you twice: just extract the content of the archive in the game directory.

So, if your game is in "/my adult games/thisGame", you must put the content of the archive in the "/my adult games/thisGame/" folder.
But it's not what you are doing. You are putting it in the "/my adult games/thisGame/game" directory.
