I done that, how do i open the cheat mod? I click on the right top corner box but nth came out.
is it the macbook problem?
You've three icons there. One is a smartphone, one is a book, and the third is for the game option. You click on the second, and you know that the mouse is on it because its color change.

I'm using renpy on mac,
Doesn't really matter.


I use place the mod at the rpa and package outside the /game in corruption,
*sigh*

The archive starts with a directory named "game", the recreational software for adult named Corruption, have a directory named "game"...
Do not put one into the other.
Do not discard the fact that the archive have this root directory named "game"
Extract the archive in such way that the folders (the one of the archive, and the one of the software) will merge.

I’ve been getting the same ModuleNotFoundError: No module named ‘AONmod’ error as well, yes with the files installed in the correct place. After entirely too much effort debugging I was able to trace the error to an incompatiblity between the mod and RenPy 8.x/Python 3.x. in AONmod.pyo I’ve fixed the issue and attached a patched set of files to this post. To install:

  1. Download the zip to the game directory
  2. Unzip the file. The files should be in the AON-packages directory. If it created a new directory delete the old one and make sure the new one is named correctly
  3. You should now have an AON-packages directory with:
    • AONmc.py
    • AONmod.py
    • AONutil.py
  4. Note that these are .py not .pyo files.
This should allow you to use the mod with newer versions of RenPy and Python.

I was able to trace the error to an incompatiblity between the mod and RenPy 8.x/Python 3.x.
The game do not use a version of Ren'Py on the 8.x branch, where do you got it ?


This should allow you to use the mod with newer versions of RenPy and Python.
It would permit to use the game with the mod installed, but not the mod ; at least not fully. Most of the tools behind are not compatible with Python 3.x

I have a version of them that will works, it's parts of the reason for the final rewriting... that is really late because September was heavy at works, and I don't really felt like continuing to code once back at home.

Thinking about it, I'm not even sure that the game itself would works correctly on a Ren'Py 8.x. The Club mini game use a lot of Python, part of it having a different behavior in Python 3.x than in Python 2.x

game's using Python 2.7 iirc, as in, Corruption 1.0 Final. forgot which version of Ren'Py it was but i'm sure it's one of the 7.x ..

The game use the version 7.0.0.196 of Ren'Py.

As for the final version of the mod, it will be build on top of the last version of my own tools, that is fully compatible Python 2.x and Python 3.x. But unless there's an official version of the game made with Ren'Py 8.x, I'll probably not lost time trying to make it compatible with Python 3.x ; you're all waiting since long enough.

honestly i kinda doubt the dev will deliver some major version change to the game, like 1.5 or sumsuch, and line that up with a engine update. it's final. right? ... right?

Working on it but, as I said, works have been hard on my after summer, and I had some personal issues that goes on top of it :(
It will come before Christmas for sure, normally before mid November, and if life decide to spare me a bit, before the end of October, but no guaranty on this one.

golden rule; when n doubt, Real Life First. which considers you do the modding more as a hobby..ish. don't beat yourself up.

Don't worry, it's a hobby ; a pleasurable distraction that ease my mind, while letting me stay sharp on my field. Reason why I haven't done much when works was harassing, since I really needed to do something totally unrelated.
Yet it doesn't mean that I can slack off just like that, at least by respect for the people using the mod. I never let it pass before IRL, but it still have a high place on my list because of this.

How are things progressing with the final version?
Near to be finished. But my daughter will pass the week at my home, and since, with the pandemic, I haven't seen her outside of emergencies since near to two years, I'll dedicate my time to her.

But I said that it will be ready before the holidays, and it will be.

Again, sorry for the wait.
I was working with a new version of my tools and in-game configuration menu and... Well, I had to works on both in addition to the mod, since theory is never close enough to practice. To this life added some pitfalls and I recognize that I add a laziness crisis this summer ;)

But it's done, the mod is here, and it come with many, many things.

I can't detail the whole changes, because globally I touched to everything. But the important points are:
  • You can now also open the configuration menu by moving the mouse to the top left corner, and clicking on the logo that will appear ;
    I guess that Mac Users will be more than happy with this one.
  • The Casino blackjack scene is fixed ;
    You'll now be able to see it in totality, and not just see one fourth of it.
  • I double the number of bug fixes ;
    More than bugs, they address inconstancy and annoyances.
  • I totally redesigned the modded interface ;
    There where so many pages, and so many click combination to reach the information... Now everything fit in just four pages, all directly available. It's really better, and I wonder why I haven't done this before.
As usual, I tested the mod, but like it's a whole rewriting, I can have missed some issues that happen only in a particular context. So do NOT hesitate to tell me if you encounter a bug, or think you encountered one.

Is it fine to just install over the old version or do you recommend doing a clean "install"?
