You probably put the bug fix in version 1.55. You need to download 1.6 which has been posted multiple times in this tread and on other sites. Either that or you need to reload your save to update it to the current version which can be done by pressing Shift + R.

Dev good work on the update I like the idea about corrupting the newsroom, I hope the newscaster decides to have an interview with the MC in an future update about the wonderful changes his making at the school, law enforcement, church, and the city.
