Same problem here. I can't get over 50% when I tried all 6 options
To meet Mia you must first corrupt the band first. then you get the message that you should hire a professional. come back home turn on the computer to put out an ad. Then you go back to the TV station's Studio you will meet the recording girl. Corruption her and you will get the porn shoots
when you get to 50% you just need the support of the mayor's ex-wife and the band's support five times and you will get to 100% or even higher. then make the secretary become a slave and become the mayor

That right. you just need to give 5 speeches to the mayor's ex-wife then ask the secretary about the percentage of election and it will gradually increase. believe me, i finished that way

Yeah, that's how it was supposed to be, I think. But apparently your aproval goes up every single time Scarlet and Victoria give a speach. It's probably a long standing bug. You can rise your approval that way with no sensible limit even though to win the ellection you probably don't need it to be more than 60.Man thats weird tho

i got stuck in same way its 150% but still no sign or option for becaming mayor also i've got only five option

how do i slave the secretery im getting only a few option like asking my ratings or how to increasw my rating

The final piece of the puzzle is the band Exciting which can be found at the TV station in the other town accessed vis the subway. Once you have them enslaved and they have done their campaign, you should then be able to enslave the secretary and carry out the election.
Just one thing to note, the dev has had issues with over corruption of characters that lead to dead ends, because you have passed a trigger point before it was available. If you find that even after you have enslaved the band and had the campaign speech, that those options do not show still, I would advise using AON's Better Experience mod to lower campaign rating to 60%. This is what you should have as it is 10% for each campaign speech. (Church, School, Police, Hospital, Ex Mayor's family and Entertainers.)
I'm in the same boat, I was at 50% approval rating before enslaving the band and after they gave their speech I was still at 50%.
I have seen some people suggest that doing the mayor's family again can increase the rating by 10% and that has not worked.
Is there a console command that I can use to forcefully increase the rating to 60% and hopefully unlock the events?
Also, from what I can tell the better experience mod does not allow me to lower the campaign rating, though that does not matter as much, since I need to raise it.
