The truest example of NTR/cuckold content is that Fenoxo, on his own site, lets Savin advertise, post updates for, and generally sell his own game that cribs heavily off Fen's own content despite Savin literally leaving Fen's writing team to do this.

THAT right there is the real NTR, when your own porn site gets half-hijacked because you're 'just such good friends' with the other guy.
to be fair, if Savin isn't making his thing, I doubt the site can sustain itself on TiTS which has COC2's worst crimes but way way way worse.

I'm sure the site could sustain itself on TiTS alone, it's just that everyone got tired of working on the shit for 6 years, so that's why COC2 is a thing.

Tits is just incredibly disjointed and way too reliant on adding new fetish characters with 3 foot long dicks and breasts the size of a small car. So much shit just ends halfway through a given story or never has a satisfying conclusion, main story is basically abandoned, majority of choices don't do anything because their relevant events just end suddenly.
There's also WAY too many romances, so the amount of content in each is kind of pathetic because they don't get the focus they need, or force you into doing stupid shit to continue with them (such as siding with pirates who actively try to kill you all game).

Apparently it's quite overmanaged internally too, which is surprising. So authors can't just go and do their own shit or write around the main plot or certain characters, but then there's basically zero actual strong direction coming out of that. Shit regularly gets finished and then just delayed for ages before it's put in the game too, which I have to assume is even more managerial issues. I'd need to go read forum drama to find out for sure though, and I'd rather hammer nails down my fingers than do that with my day, so take it with a grain of salt.

It's really just a lot of the stuff coc2 struggles with but dialed up to like 20.

Depends what you mean by direction too.

Are there variations on the CG? Human fute/male could take me out of expirience since it seems that I am only bastard here playing as something other then human fighter. Also, where are bovine legs?

Still, nice.
Nope, no variations besides cowbell if you decide to make her wear it. I remember them saying its too much work to make variations on everything so they just opt out for generic human character. And yes they didn't do the legs right.

I don't think it's too far out there, since CoC doesn't make it necessary to transform. Some folks can get into the groove more easily when their player avatar is something they can relate to (i.e. doesn't have any parts that they don't possess).
Most potential partners are not going to be pure humans, so you're not really missing out on the furry/transformed parts aspect; you just enjoy those parts on whoever your avatar is fucking instead.

Furthermore, CoC/CoC2/TiTS don't make your transformed body provide significant gameplay bonuses (and many more exotic body parts don't even have proper representation in many sex scenes). This means whether you should transform is left to your personal preferences for the most part.
There's no pressure to transform to make a "stronger character"; stay with whatever makes you comfortable, or even ignore the transformation system entirely.

At most, you might "have to" transform if you want to see a certain scene gated by a specific set of body specs, but you can transform back pretty easily afterwards.

To provide an example of a game that does things differently: Lilith's Throne has racial bonuses for combining certain transformations, and some of them are broken as all hell, which creates dissonance when you want to play a spellcaster but your preferred form (or fursona or whatever) turns out to be shit at magic (and vice versa, as there are races that clearly favor physical combat, or specific elements, etc.).
Staying pure human is also kind of a waste, stat-wise (though it may have an effect on the story at some point, who knows; at the pace it's going maybe we'll find out in 2025).
I'd imagine the number of players who stick with being pure humans in LT is much lower than in CoC/CoC2/TiTS, since the game gives you a real incentive to transform.

Also, even if "generic human male" wasn't the majority player choice, it's still the safest, blandest, most vanilla option if they're only going to present one MC appearance.
If, say, it was a dog-morph or cat-morph or horse-morph then more people would think "that isn't my MC" instead of "that's just a placeholder MC since there's no way they can cover EVERY MC appearance".

Nah, most characters you interact with will have their own portrait, and if you can have sex with them they'll have a nude version of the portrait as well.

Some characters will also have a few more expression changes, or special alt art if they can change forms/be customized somehow.
Some also have different artists' depictions of the same character that you can switch between to suit your preferences.

Just skimming the resources\app\resources\bitmaps\fulls folder in CoC2 version 0.3.21, there are 346 character portraits, and these represent 132 distinctly-named characters. Forgive me if the latter number is off by one or two, I counted them manually.

Was this a patch that happened to skip 2 versions before release, or are there changelogs we don't know about? If the latter, anyone have them?

While that is true, it's worth noting that they COULD use a parts-based system for the player character which would allow them to cover an extremely wide range of MCs simply by layering individual part images over each other like many RPGMaker games do. One non RPGmaker example of the same thing is Degrees of Lewdity which uses a minimalist parts-based system to render the player character on the left side of the screen. It's a lot less work to have the game combine part sprites than to draw new characters for every possible variation.

Yeah, but the quality of such solution is pretty low, when all you have is text and graphic representation is just for reference and all it have to do is supplement text that's fine, but when you put that next to high quality art in CoC2 it would be REALLY painful to look at.

Not bashing on Degrees of Lewdity (in fact, my favorite game is The Poor Whore with no art what so ever, it still beats every other game on this site effortlesly), it's just a different game.

Oh, I meant for in-line art like the recent Brienne CGs. Alternate MC art for those sorts of images would generally entail more commission money changing hands.

With regard to a more modular method of depicting the player character, TiTS is for its departure from Flash! Select the following options to get to the prototype player customization screen:
New Game > Yes > Main > Appearance > Image Select > Edit Image
Lots of sliders you can mess around with that affect a placeholder player image. If they can map some quality character art to it and have it deform/scale smoothly, it'll turn out amazing.
