There's no Dom/Sub material in Kiyoko's content. Its predominantly about her pregnant fetish. Any drama comes meeting other Kitsune, pretty much because you're an outsider and always remain one. The_Observer pretty much admitted thats what they wanted to do when they were writing the content, mirroring the cultural isolationist attitude of the Japanese throughout history.

That's why I advise people to play it and make their own opinion. It's becoming startlingly obvious that some people here are overreacting to the point of imagining things that never happened. Ultimately, it would be better if everyone made their own opinion after playing it, and not just blindly trust anyone's angry posts on this forum, no matter which side you're on.

I mean yeah, that's what's been discussed here. Everybody knows it's about the isolationist attitude of the place it's based on, Observer did his research, the problem is the execution is terrible. Is even talking about the fact that an idea badly implemented taboo?

And I can agree with the sentiment that someone saying that Kiyoko can be quite a lot for people, especially for people for whom pregnancy is not a fetish. Hell, I'm one of them, but I do like the interaction with Kiyoko.

At the end of the day, you're going to get what you want out of the game, but when people are mislabelling parts of the game, that's when someone needs to step in and say you're making a mistake.

It all sorta loops back to the first time this discussion even started with the observer being criticised for not allowing things to happen at all other than his novel. What if I wanna say fuck this and kill the fuckers and force myself on kiyoko? Nothing even close to a non-romantic option is allowed.

EDIT: So apparently moving it to my C drive fixed it, I've been having problems like this alot recently, so I don't know if something is going wonky with my secondary drive or what. But nvm!

Moving it to other parts of the drive did it too apparently, I guess It's trying to load multiple versions of the game or something and having a conflict or something, no idea.

I too disliked kiyoko and i couldn't put the feeling into words for a really long time.

Now i have a clearer picture about it and the reason is because i just wanted to fuck and breed some thot and that's it, but banging kiyoko comes with a shitload of baggage. You have to deal with all the other retarded foxes and their shitty society that i couldn't give two fucks about and while all that happens your character is a nonentity without a say in anything in what HIS family does.

After freeing kiyoko all i could think was "I didn't sign up for this"

I wouldnt be freeing kiyoko in my future playthroughs, the smut isn't worth the drama.

So basically you wanted Kiyoko to be a nonentity, only to end up being disappointed. Alright, feel free to switch over to other thots, but keep in mind that their backstories will be expanded too in due time. This isn't a "fuck and forget" game. Most of the audience wants to dive deep into the "drama" that surrounds the main character's followers. Right now we're about to expand on Etheryn's backstory with the upcoming Winter City update.

If you are making a story game and not a book, there should be choices involved, choices that should at least partially affect the games outcomes. The fact that Kiyoko's and Kinu's stories lack this is a failing on the standard of being a story game.

It's not. Being able to interject and discuss with Kinu her poor choice in boyfriend for one would be nice. Being able to tell Kiyoko and Kinu that maybe they could come live with you in Hawkethorne. Telling Kinu's boyfriend that he's a cunt and he keeps up his attitude with you you'll beat his ass would be fun. Those kinds of things.

The initial concept of Kiyoko was a good one, someone trapped in another dimension and needing your help to escape. Its certainly a more interesting idea than just "We've fought X times and you've banged me X times, I'll be your companion" that we've seen before.

As much as I like Kiyoko herself, the execution of most of the content has left a lot to be desired. Some times it feels more like we're reading a novel from The_Observer, rather than a text game. We got no interaction save for one sided conversations and the occasional glare from someone because the Champion is an outsider. Any positive interaction treats you more like an object of interest or as a pet.

That's fine for a novel, but not so much for a text game.

Personally I enjoy reading these things and would make comparisons to such quantity content similar to Urta, but I feel we should just change topics while we're ahead before we say things we might regret and ruin this thread for everybody.
