Berry Quest was finished and reviewed and has been being coded for like a month now I think.

It's possible they paused it to work on Mayternity stuff, but I would expect it soonish.

Don't children inherit 100% of their racial characteristics from the NPC parent in this game? So they'd just be pure snow elves (or whatever they're called).

That's true, there's no half-anything kids in this game, which is weird since Atani talks about it and the codexes reference races which “breed true”. Just an oversight or simplification to reduce the complexity I guess. Lupine-minotaurs could be cool.

Regarding breeding, it would be funny if Brienne’s mom could be told about the 50+ mino-kids at the nursery since there’s dialogue about Brienne’s pregnancy with her :D

Honestly you're not, it always made side eye the game a little. I said it a while ago, but the wholesome family simulator parts of CoCII felt like streaming The Magic Schoolbus on Pornhub. Yeah I suppose there's nothing inherently wrong with it, but it still feels questionable. There aren't any child characters in games like Skyrim and GTA for a reason, and I feel like there really shouldn't be any in a porn game.

No judgement meant on the people who enjoyed the early Kinu content, the whole thing was just not my cup of tea though.

There are half breeds in the game, you run into a half orc/doggo in the bar even, just not yours. It's explained the PC's kids are always the race of the other parent because of the soup the magic explosion made of your genetics.

My only counterpoint to that is hounds of the blade, I don't think Inu is milking his fanbase so much as they have no idea how to finish a project. I think this is his fourth (?) attempt at the side scroller beat em up h-game and each one has got to about four levels and then petered out, however he didn't accept donations for the previous three. He accepted them for hounds of the blade in the hopes that it would motivate him to keep working on it IIRC. But we're getting off topic so probably better to leave it there.
