Would've worked better if Cait was just really faithful, instead of being part of the smut-religion. Then the world building doesn't affect her harshly.

Her religion downplays the whole premise of Kas corrupting this whole new world because you can't get any lower then a religion whose sole purpose is to groom kids into being prostitutes. No amount of hand waving from the devs will get me to buy that the higher ups don't use kids as prostitutes to gain favor from people in power. It doesn't help that the religion's God is actually a world ending threat in disguise.

Honestly I think the story would be more interesting if The Seven were the real villains we had to take down by exposing them.

I apologize for asking this twice, but I never got any replies on my previous question!

I want to make a femboy/trap character, is there a lot of content in the game around that type of MC? I have not played a lot of CoC1 or CoC2 before so I'd love to know before I spend hours on a character that feel unsatisfied x)

I do love groomer religions. My favourite thing is when Cait herself talks about how she was groomed from a young age!!!

You can turn yourself into a femboy/trap and get railed as one and the game acknowledges your description as such. So if for example the recent hot-topic of the thread; the Mallachite Priestess Caitriss gives you a blowjob or something, the game describes you as an effeminate male.

You can make a feminine guy character. You can also make a trans guy character. I don't think there are any specific scenes based on how masculine a character is but there are scenes based on specific races. If I had to guess I'd say you may want to either start as an elf or catfolk because these races are considered feminine especially the guys. There are a few characters who are really into those specific races I believe. One of them is a futa girl whose really into elves.

I think TiTS may have more scenes that you'll enjoy by playing as a feminine guy. One of the women that you can recruit really enjoys feminine guys i believe. Not only are there scenes based on masculinity/femininity there are also scenes based on the size of your character's junk. Catfolk guys there are also described as being feminine in appearance. There are also transformational items to make him more feminine.

The fact that there's constant handwaving is what makes it so much worse. The story has the potential to get into some real fucking good conflict, but they just refuse to do it. Pretend there's no problem when addressing the problem is the interesting part.

Simultaneously takes itself way too seriously but not seriously enough doing it that way. What's the point of even bringing up the grooming shit if your not going to address it in any way?

Same reason that they have rape while trying to downplay that as well. It's like they want to have dark themes but immediately water them down when exploring those themes would actually make the game interesting. I'm not sure if the writers are afraid/uninterested in taking on darker subject matter(in the game about corruption) or are they afraid of getting axed from Patreon?

Like imagine how interesting a story could be that while she wasn't used as a politician's plaything due to her status how if she met others(a friend) who was. How would she react to know that not only did her God know but did nothing to stop the abuse. I think a crisis of faith could be interesting.

Probably just a case of different authors, different visions. I know a lot of lore that the observer writes is at odds with other stuff.

You got to be in a relationship or trying to make one to get cucked.
Otherwise you just simp'ing and getting mad about pussy or dick that was never yours. And that is cringe as hell bro.
Semantically yes.I should have specified ntr, but unfortunately as other users have pointed out, there is no good translation for it in english. Having one's cherished person, to which a certain amount of love is held, be stolen away from them sexually, while being unable to do anything is a form of ntr. It isnt the same as cucking and I apologize for the confusion, I am also not the most proficient with english and just assumed it meant the same as ntr.

It is more cringe for me that scenes are written about things that could be easily avoided. Give me some interaction, let me decide if my character watches and cries or intervenes in a show of dominance. I know Savin can write scenes like this, cause he did write for CoC 1 with helia, a scene where you can steal her away from a minotaur.

I gotta say, I’m always surprised by how much this thread hates Cait.
I too wonder about that. Now don't get me wrong; I know CoC and TiTS are helmed by a bunch of hacks who often can't write their way out of a paper bag and who employ artists who seem to worship ugliness, but how is Cait any different than the murderer's row of other made-for-porn characters across the games? At least in CoC2, the forefront NPC isn't a fucking dickgirl like Urta or a parody of debauchery like Anno.
In defense of Cait, her slaternly ways are explained by the whole Mallachite thing.

This may be neither here nor there, but Savin has his own issues. If I remember correctly, he directly 'forbid' modders from using his characters. It's one thing to not like NTR, but Savin takes it to schizo levels.

Most of the hate for Cait isn't for the character itself, though there certainly is some, but the way the character is forced down the players throat. The shear amount of content you lose out on if you refuse to recruit her is staggering. It's made very clear she is the main character of the game, not your donut.

I am just asking to be able to not have ntr forced down my throath. For instance, excluding defeat rape, every rape scene in this game is completely avoidable. Even the very first "villain" of the game does not force the player into sex with her, despite it making no sense from a story perspective (I have not experienced much of the new content since a year or 2 ago so I am not sure if this still holds up). Why then am I subjected to watch ntr scenes when I don't enjoy them and would like to avoid them? Both are extreme content that most people don't enjoy. The fact that much of the content surrounding Cait involves some fort of ntr is obnoxious considering how much of a secondary protagonist she is.
