If not for my ill health and the drama and hate/spite that the devs seem to cause and spew, I would gave written for the game. I would have been happy to ensure that groups who dont get much content were getting some love.

But alas, I'm not risking my well being getting worse when I'm already ill enough to not be able to work and such.

I wrote the following for the COC1 mods:

The worldbuilding isn't even logical when you think more than five seconds. The Boreal elves magical third gender doesn't make any type of sense and feels inserted in out of nowhere. Everyone seems to be a-okay with Cait's religion on essentially grooming children into sex workers, but Kas is the bad one? Your character has knowledge on the truth of the gods but seems to not give a shit to tell ANYONE about what he knows. The Kitsunes feel more out of place than fucking Pathfinder's world and that game's world has a literal cyberpunk city across the way from a medieval town.

This is what happens when you try to do DnD shit but lack the skill to make it work.

Have you done the quest? If you keep wandering around, after 100 moves it pity moves you to the boss. After the fights you decide where Mathias gets sent and then you can acess the tower when you set up a camp.

I can honestly
Would you be so kind as to elaborate, my good sir?
depends on what content you like, game feels lacking in choices but there are still choices
but if your question is the game worth playing, then yes ive beat my dick to this game many times

I will add my two cents: other than a few fleshed out characters content (20-30% of the game), most of the stuff in the game leaves me with "that's it?" feeling (30-40%) or just plain "what the hell is this garbage?" feeling (remaining 40%). Now that I think about it, almost all of the game feels abandoned and half finished in favor of the new characters that will be added, half finished and also abandoned.

It's still worth playing as there is a lot of content.

I would forgive the Kitsune if they were there just for the kink appeal. Same thing with Cait being a priest hoe. But the way they flesh out the world and the characters just sort of ignores the fact that everyone is a sex-crazed maniac. Pathfinder gets away with it because everything is designed to facilitate adventure. CoC 2... doesn't. You've got a high fantasy RPG strapped to a sex game and the two keep clashing with each other. The story elements keep making the sex parts awkward because you really don't want to be thinking about weird sex cults while banging cat girls, and the sex parts make the fantasy elements weird because the demonic hoard looking to make everyone super slutty can't be a threat if everyone is willing to bang at the slightest opportunity.

To be clear: there's some good elements in CoC2. The problem isn't necessarily the individual elements of the story (though there are some stinkers) but rather how they all blend together as a whole. Why the fuck should I care about Kitsune family drama when I got into it purely for the fantasy of having a sexy fox wife with an idealized version of pregnancy? This ain't Tolken. Hell, this ain't even a pulp fantasy novel. It's porn, but it keeps forgetting it's porn.

COC2 would've been better if it were written as a power fantasy. Agree or disagree?
Eh, depends on how much of a power fantasy you think it already is.

Personally, power fantasies are turn offs.
Puts me in mind of isekais with their bland self-insert protags. Yuck.

I'm a fan of Brint since he checks a lot of boxes for me. As much as I enjoy dickish doms I apreciate him being more sweet & caring since he's the only legit male character you can have a relationship with. I personally enjoy his content with other characters, particularly the Elthara scenes & eventual pregnancy. I like the cuckquean aspect of it, especially as it's not written as being humiliating for the MC, he's just highly sexual as most people in this setting are & have his own sex life outside of being in a relationship with them. The same goes for the MC, but at the end of the day they're each other's "main" relationship. It suits his whole caring & friendly stud persona.

I do wish it was a option though to define your relationship, if it's important for you that he doesn't sleep around, etc. I would even go as far as having the option to chose to be monogamous yourself w/ the option of asking for your partner to do the same or to give them a hall pass. It would be more of a kink thing, like you could confess to not keeping the promise & get some special dom/sub scene depending on the dynamic you picked. So no dramatic & hurtful reactions or anything, more like "I knew you couldn't keep it in your pants" with some spanking or whatever.

The lore & setting are a mess. They tried to make this world more "friendly" than CoC1 yet there's still the same dynamic of sex after losing in combat. Then there's the whole temple prostitution thing where everyone is ok with it. That only works assuming essentially anything that isn't enthusiastic consent is cnc in this world, so for Kasyrra's mission of sluttifying the world to make sense the whole thing falls apart. Either everyone is already sex positive so what's the point or our character is constantly coming across rapists yet no one thinks anything of it so what different does it make to have a few more. She's barely doing anything either way. They could have worked with the infertile thing, that she essentially wants to make it so that no one can birth anything other than imps & the world's population would be stuck at whoever was alive during her realizing her plan.

There's something that is a bit of a personal pet peeve, but the magic is all over the place. Seemingly any random witch can change people's gentials and just in our party there's someone that can mind control others & turn them into tiny statues but absolutely no one can beat Kas. If we had any corruption content then magic could be directly tied to it, it would be both lore & gameplay feature. But they just carried over everything from the first game with the intent of "improving" them without giving it a second thought.

It already is. Kinda. "A world where there are tons of beautiful women out there who are more than happy to fuck you" is a power fantasy. There is the whole "get fucked if you're defeated" thing, but that's also a power fantasy too. The biggest consequence for failure is... more sex. One of the first things you see in the game is a guard who obviously lost a fight and got filled with eggs (or was it honey? I can never remember with the bee people). And it's treated as an embarrassing inconvenience rather than a war crime. So bad stuff can kinda happen but nothing permanent and nothing that isn't treated as terrible.

But it never really seems to realize it's a power fantasy. This ties into the worldbuilding and the whole "sex is so casual you can fuck most people after talking to them for 10 minutes or doing a side quest," because everyone acts as though they aren't a part of a ridiculously sex-hungry world until it's time for the pants to come off. So you're treated as 'just another dude' in story, but in reality you've been fucking everything that looks at you funny. It's really strange to hear the writers talk about how they hate power fantasies, but they're literally writing their own personal sex stories where you're UltraChad, Impregnation of Bitches, desired by everything with a reproductive system.

With the porn, it just clashes so hard because what your player character can't do, the enemy victor can do. Weird I have to respect the preference of my defeated foe but they are free to ignore mine? They want to do a sort of serious world but it just feels off. Cait is a hoe yes, but when you look into her religion it is pretty fucked up and your character just randomly accepts that like it is normal.

You obviously never played a good power fantasy game. WOTR gets my dick hard like no other if you go angel path and make even a goddess seethe because you do her job better.
